A floor rug was ordered and made . $400 was charged for a mat that is too small for the rug. Doerr Furniture is refusing to exchange it for the correct size but is willing to sell me another mat.Business response

Our customer service manager contacted ****************** directly to resolve this issue. He previously only spoke to his salesperson at our Northshore location. The original rug pad ordered was a different size than the rug he ordered. We offered to order him the correct size pad and do an even exchange even though the pad was higher than what he originally paid. He informed us that he had already purchased a custom pad from another company. Doerr agreed to go back to the customer's home actually today, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 to move his living room furniture and his rug so that the incorrect sized pad can be picked up and returned to Doerr for a full refund. We will also lay his newly purchased rug pad on his floor and then replace the rug and living room furniture in their same spots. A full refund of $433.72 for the rug pad purchased from Doerr will be done to ********************** **************** after this exchange is made. As far as we know ****************** was very pleased with this outcome and this case can be closed. Thank you.
