On October 15, 2020 I took delivery of a23 HP mud motor with a floating handle bar and a weed eliminator. Including the above plus crating and shipping I paid a total of $5,288.00 for which I have copies of the checks. On November 11, 2021 I contacted Mr. G****** ***l) concerning a couple of mechanical issues that had arisen as of that day. One was the muffler had separated from the brackets that tie it into the motor. The other was a strange noise originating from the lower unit and evidence of some metal shavings in the unit. At Gil's request I sent him pictures of the items in question. The following week I contacted Gil again, this time to tell him that the muffler had fallen off during use and that the noise in the lower unit had gotten worse. The boat was not used again. I sent pictures again, requested by Gil. It was agreed that i would take the unit to a Monte Clark in Lake Placid, FL who would handle the warrantee work. I have had limited communication with Mr. C**** as he never answers calls and does not respond to text messages. My last communication with Copperhead was on 12/9 at which time I was told by Josh G****** that I would hear back from them the next day. Copperhead personnel have not since responded to my emails or text nor do they answer my phone calls. At this time I want Copperhead to complete the necessary repairs. If I have to take this to litigation I will be seeking a full refund plus any and all other damages I may be entitled to. Please note that the purpose of the mud motor is to use in duck hunting endeavors in the Evergaldes and other marsh lands. The hunting season started on Nov. 20 and ends on January 30, which means that the hunting opportunities for the 2021/2022 season are running out.
