On June 17, 2022 A-1 Movers was hired to move my daughters mobile home from one location to another. The price was $3,500. They came and started moving the mobile home and got it stuck in between 2 streets. In the process of correcting it the frame was bent and the ceiling in the kitchen and pantry was cracked. The hardware on the sliding glass door was pulled out and some of the siding was knocked loose. My husband spoke with the owner and he said to hold $500 until the repairs were made to the mobile home. We have made many attempts to have him come out and make the damages right as that is what he said he was going to do. He has not responding to our calls, text and email. He provided a copy of his insurance prior to the mobile home being moved and we called the insurance company several times and they said they could not do anything until he made a claim. They made several attempts to get in touch with him as well and were not successful. The last time I spoke with the insurance company they said that the company that I said moved the mobile home was not the company that the insurance is in even though we have a copy of it showing the company that he said he was. Apparently he has 2 different companies. It has been almost a month and he has not even attempted to make the damage right. We just want the mobile home fixed because my daughter is a single mother and does not have the money to fix it. The owner did not give us a receipt and we paid in cash.
