In July 2022 I brought my Ford F150 to Benoit Ford In Deridder, LA for an abnormal noise. After two weeks with no call from the Service Department, I reached out to them to ask if they found the problem. I was told I would have a return call. Two more weeks went by and no call from the service dept. I reached back out to them and I was told, they were just about to call me. I needed wheel bearings. After two more weeks in the shop, I received the vehicle back. In Dec 2023 my husband heard noises coming from a truck, we brought that vehicle to ****** **** after making the appointment on Jan 4th, 2024. On the SAME day, ****** **** called me and asked who was the last person who worked on my truck. I told them Benoit Ford in Deridder, La The service rep stated my vehicle was unsafe to drive and I only had one pin holding my wheel bearing. I called Benoit Ford to address the situation ... **** was extremely rude and required ****** **** to call them. ****** **** attempted to call them right after I made the call and **** did not take the call. The following day my husband went physically to Benoit Ford and spoke to **** directly. **** then stated we had a warranty and would need to get the vehicle towed to them. On 01/08/2024 the vehicle was towed to them so on 01/09/2024 I called to make sure they were able to get the keys from inside the locked vehicle. I never gave them the code. **** was the rep I spoke with and he stated he wasn't sure and would call me back. He never asked my name so I gave it to him. He called me in less than 5 minutes to tell me **** had taken care of it. I asked to speak with **** or the Service Manager Mr. ******, **** denied me access to both gentlemen. I have dealt with this dealership in the past and I have found it to be extremely unorganized, all employees I have dealt with take no interest in helping customers. I also would like to mention my family or myself could have had a fatality due to their negligence. I need BBB to warn othersBusiness response

On March 9th while I was deployed my wife purchases a truck that I had picked out. We finished everything with paperwork and had the dealership register it in Alaska as that’s where my residency is. The first issue is they didn’t send the application for my registration until may 11. By this time my temp tags are about to expire. I have called the Alaska DMV multiple time asking for updates and they were backed up and couldn’t help much. Then on September 1 almost 6 months of haven’t received my plates or any information I called the DMV they told me that the application got kicked back on August 12 for incorrect check amount, Benoit never informed me of this and sent the application back. However it got kicked back again for missing paperwork. Again I was never informed but ***** *****s a title clerk at Benoit said they never received the second rejection. All this time I am getting ready to move to Alaska and have been waiting on these plates this whole time and having to drive back an forth to their dealership every 5 days for temporary tags costing me time and moneyBusiness response

Customer wanted his vehicle registered in Alaska as that was his home of record. We attempted to register the vehicle in Alaska and the Alaska packet was returned a couple times without notification from Alaska DMV. It was finally worked out and the customer received the registration from Alaska.Initial Complaint

On February 5, 2021 I purchase 2016 Chevrolet Impala 4 Door Sedan LTZ W/2LZ Black protected from Benoit Ford XXXXX Johnny B Hall Memorial Hwy - Deridder, Louisiana XXXXX. Salesman is ******** ********** closing the deal for the vehicle is ****** ******** When purchasing the vehicle in the agreement the dealership was going to fix the body damage. It has been 1 year and 3 months of trying to get the job done finally after numerous calls and times on May 5, 2022 manager ***** ****** was going to take care of the issue. So vehicle was dropped off to the dealership and I was told it will be done within a week. In the following week called the dealership on May 12, 2022 spoke to ***** ****** & I was told the job was complete and it will be ready to pick up on Friday May 13, 2022 after having the vehicle in his possession. I never received a call Friday so I called the dealership and I was told by the phone reception that the vehicle was not done yet but it will be ready the next day. May 16, 2021 to May 23, 2022 I have called every single day to follow up for any status on the vehicle but no one will give me a honest answer on it. I've got frustrated and went to the dealership on May 23, 2022 in person frustrated with them because I was given a run around and none of the managers wanted to speak to me avoiding my calls and not returning any of my calls. I'm beyond upset that this dealership is unprofessional and managers are not doing their job. It has been 3 weeks not having my vehicle going on a month car note is due within a week and what's worse they haven't given me a loaner vehicle for transportation to work and for the needs of my sick child. This will be the last time I'll have to buy any vehicle from this company. And today May 25, 2022 I've called the dealership again and no one from the dealership will answer my questions or giving me the real status of the vehicle and this is the 3rd time it has been taken into the shop to fix the issueBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/26) */ I spoke with customer and advised her that the vehicle was finished and that we were sending some drivers to the body shop to pick her vehicle up and we would have it here for her to pick up at approx: 1:00 today (5/26/22) customer was given a direct number for ***** ****** and he is making sure this issue is being taken care of.
