      We purchased GE water filters for our refrigerator. Daigle Cabinets & Construction, Inc, had a good price for the exact GE filter we were looking for. We purchased a 3 pack for $66.70 + shipping. We received these and they did not work in our refrigerator. A authorized GE repair specialist came to replace the filter and noticed the ones purchased from Daigle Cabinets & Construction, Inc did not have a micro chip. I have tried to call and email Daigle Cabinets & Construction, Inc, with no response. They are selling phony filters

      I purchased a set of GE XWFE refrigerator water filters from this company on Nov. 4, 2023. There was a long delay in receiving the water filters. When I received them, I discovered they had sold me a counterfeit product. I know this is counterfeit and not just defective because they responded to my initial request for refund by sending me a video to tell me how to remove the chip (a required part of the filter and should be on each filter) from the old filter and put it on the one they sent me. I have requested a refund 3 times. Most recently, they offered an 80% refund. I want a 100% refund. If the BBB has a function to report businesses that knowingly sell counterfeit foreign products, please pursue that as well, as it is clear to me that they knew they were selling a counterfeit product, evidenced by sending the YouTube video about the chip (which solution does not work anyway).

      I received a refund from the business after you sent the first letter. I can't figure out how to send you a reply through the secure portal. You can close the complaint and thank you very much!

      11 March 2023 Order ID: ************* Purchased 3 pack of RPWFE water filters advertised as Original replacements. Items were received and stored until needed. However once used, the refrigerator stopped dispensing water/ice. Upon further review the replacement filters did not have the required RF ID chip with them. Contacted the company who claimed, they knew they did not have the chip and stated that's why they were cheaper. I replied "that they were not advertised as replacements without a chip. I believe it was (and is) intentional false advertising as today there is no mention of your product not containing the required chip. (Pics attached for reference). I request a full refund as I will now need to go out and pay full price for a "real" replacement filter." They conceded to offer a 60 then 80% refund and I keep the filters. I accepted the 80% offer and they claimed they processed my refund 24 July 2023 "An 80% refund will be issued in 1-3 business days after you received this message. The refund will be issued directly to your account that paid for this order." I contacted them 9 Aug in which they replied "We're sorry to inform you that we're currently unable to issue a refund for you due to our account being under review, but don't worry. Our technicians are working hard to resolve this issue and we will issue a refund to you once our account is back to normal." I stated i had no account and used a credit card for the purchase and to initiate my refund. They have not followed through with their intent to issue my refund with in 1-3 business days and they continue to falsely advertise the product. I am requesting a full refund of $69.97.
