This is mechanic shop that has been over charging me for old car parts claiming that the parts are new.when I ask for my receipt upon the 2nd car repair for a fuel pump so I can send it back to whatever company he ordered it from ,the business could not provide me with the receipt.after he repaired it a week later the fuel pump went out,because it was never changed an was only repaired or whatEver he did.i broke down On side the road a week later,,I got a mechanic to come out he diagnosed the fuel pump was gone out.i towed my car to honest auto so he can do what he was suppose to do,he refused an say it wasnt the fuel pump.In the beginning Of the repair deal I told him I was gonna bring my own parts my own fuel pump,he never call me to tell me he was ready for the part,once he Did call me ,he called me Stating I owe an over price total stating he had already ordered the fuel pump!! which I clearly explained to him I was gonna bring my own fuel pump ,because of the previous car repair he did for me was way over charged .$2;700!!!! So I didnt trust him to buy my parts. The dealer owner screams An tells an talk over You without coming to an agreement to at all settle the matters .He also kept raising the price for the repairs as the days passed. He stated if I dont pay he would have my truck towed to a salvage yard.All together for 2 repairs I paid honest auto $3600 an my truck is still broke .hes very much dishonest an a scammer ,an I hope youll deal with himBusiness response

Dear *********************** . Here are my answer .This 2009 Audi Q7 drove in to my shop with the major gas leak issue and strong gas odor.,customer agree to pay $165.00 for system diagnose .We found the cracked fuel pump at left/rear gas tank . and gave the estimate of $ ****** for the fuel pump this called fuel supply pump,and the labor remove and install of $450 .00 with tax and discount final price at $775.00. Job was complete done and delivered on 06/13/22 with receipted provided to customer also 1 year warranty on parts and labor. Please keep in mind ,this vehicle design 2 separate fuel pump ,1 called supply locate in fuel tank ,other one called high pressure pump located under hood mount to engine .the one We replaced is inside gas tank . if you have any other question please call me any time at **************. Its says he fixed it but a week later the vehicle broke down for the same thing he said he repaired.. it was not replaced, if so it was with used parts, that did not last a solid week.I got a diagnosis from another mechanic saying it was the back fuel pump that honest auto claimed to had changed that I need to replace to have my car repairedBusiness response

dear BBB ; As We had explanned and provide the itemize list of replacement part +labor +tax cost for work completed done on 06/13/2022 .we need proof certify auto repair business who determined that the lelf rear fuel pump was bad and used pump.also picture of it .secondly our business public since **** .It is criminal act to sell customer used part and list as new part MRS ************ Sharpermust provide BBB office proof of Certify reapair shop who determined this issue .Please call me for more imformation .our hour monday to friday 8 am tio 5 pm regards, phone ************Customer response

All I have is the diagnoses from the mechanic, stating I have a bad fuel pump I did not do the repairs yet, because I want a refund for the fuel pump I already paid for. Im not investing any more money into something I already paid for that fuel pump. I can return it to you, you give me my money for it an you can return it to whom ever you brought it from !!! Its no good, nor is the repair work.. still have the same issue with the same thing.I need a refund

so ****************************** can not provide any proof of documentary from Whom, Where is the Auto Shop determine the fuel pump is used ,not new.. Again ,our shop stay behind all work has 12 month or ***** miles warranty from the day vehicle delivery 06/13/2022 .If the fuel pump found defected ,will be under warranty replacement at no cost .Other wise there will be a minimum charge of $165.00 for diagnosic . Another option is : If ***************** refuse our warranty option ,and rather refund ,this is Our decision to make it clear WE need the vehicle back in our shop ,once it in the shop will allow HE OR SHE inside the shop to observate the removal of the fuel pump also taking picture or video as needed . .THe refund cost of fuel pump is $ ****** plus tax ,=$525.25 WILL PAY . * There will be the cost of labor1/2 way to remove the fuel pumpat $450.00 at $225.00 +tax =$245.70.We request this option must be done within between8 hours inweek days monday to friday * Vehicle must be tow in shop and pick up by customer expanse in the same day .Again we are looking forward to solve this problem Regards.
