Zero stars . Contract means nothing. Threatened to leave with our stuff. Didnt deliver all for five months. Required more and more money or they would walkout . Many things dented scratched and broken. Some items never delivered. DO NOT USE. SCAM

This is one of the biggest scams!!! My husband called a broker who contracted with Pelican Movers. We were never told that they were a broker and that another party would move us. My husband paid $2,500 and was told that he would not have to pay any more and that the movers would assemble everything. When Pelican Movers got there, the son was on the phone THE ENTIRE TIME, he worked one handed. The other son asked if my son would drive to ********* to get him food. The worked very slow and my husband had to help them dissemble the bed and table because they had no tools and the one son worked one handed. When they were leaving the son charged us $3200 dollars for doing very little work in a small trailer. The son said that we used more space than was quoted. I cash app'd the money to a woman. VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL!!!!!!! When the father arrived, all he did was place the boxes in the bedroom. He DID NOT ASSEMBLE anything even though we were told that the movers would be in charge of everything. He lost all of our hard-earned money on nothing. They did absolutely nothing. DO NOT USE!!!!!!! They and the broker should be out of business! Truly a disgrace!!!!!!!!

Paid via Zelle to his wife *********************, this man ***** ************************* currently taking broker jobs from LONG HAUL MOVING AND STORAGE , VIA ************************ out of **.He picked up my belonging on Dec 29th and has told me now 3 different times he will arrive and hasn't and will not *************. The broker that hired him also will not ************* LONG HAUL MOVING AND STORAGE and he has all of my mothers belonging on his trailer. I've contacted the ************************** Elder abuse hotline and will be reporting him to the state police for grand theft.

If I can give a zero rating I would. I received a very horrible services. They over charged. They messed up my tempurpedic mattress, broke my dresser and scratches on furniture DONOT HIRE THEM

I do not even want to give this company one star. Under NO circumstances should anyone use this father/son rip,off team. The son showed up at my house in a pickup truck and trailer. He was rude, helped himself to items out of my fridge without asking. Told me I had to get him lunch and give him a nice tip. He forgot items in my house and said he had to charge me more to go back inside and get them. One was the set of shelves from my dining room hutch he forgot to wrap and load. This should have been included with the original estimate when he loaded the hutch. He would not go back and get the glass shelves unless I paid him more money. He charged me way more than the estimate and claims he didnt receive a Zelle transaction which on my end shows as going into his account. My bank is investigating but they will not deliver my furniture until I pay another $1000 that he claims he did not get. I have been without my entire house full of belongings since 9/28. Today is 10/17. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. They should be shut down and never allowed to do business again.

Pelican Movers LLC out of ****** ********* are the worst movers I have ever worked with, and I have moved many many times in the last 40 years. The owner hung up on me.His sons who came to pack up my furniture were wearing flip-flops and were super sloppy. And when I asked them to cover a piece of furniture that was going to be moved with a dolly the guy said weve been doing this for over 10 years we know what were doing. And of course the furniture got scratched. Once packed, they told me I was taking up double the original space quoted, and my price went up by a third. after I paid, I called them over the next couple of weeks with no response whatsoever. There was absolutely no communication until one morning at 9 AM. I got a phone call saying that the furniture was arriving that day and through another company.I have never worked with any company in my entire lifetime that were so rude, so inconsiderate and so bad at what they do.Hire anyone else even people off the street before you hire Pelican Movers LLC.Oh, and the owners name is not *******. He just uses that name because under his real name, he has a couple of assault charges.

Using this company was a HORRIBLE experience. Bridge View out of ******* sub move to Pelican. Total lack of communication. AFTER loading they insisted on a LARGE "cash only" amount or would not transport. I would NEVER recommend Pelican Movers under any circumstances!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is the worst service experience I have ever received in my life. Please use a U-Haul and if needing assistance hire workers on either end of the move. It is not worth your time going through this process. To be very clear, I have no problem with any of the workers and the owner of Pelican Movers as people. They were friendly. This review is specifically about the service I received, which was beyond poor.I received my items 41 days after the original move date despite many attempts to reach out to Pelican Movers. I received my items well after the last possible date as stated in my contract with Pelican Movers. The communication was horrific, with multiple phone calls that made very little sense. On a few occasions the proposed moving date or timeframe was changed by Pelican Movers without clear explanations or apologies. I literally ended up buying a variety of items so I could function with everyday life while I waited for my belongings. I slept on an air mattress out of a lack of options. I canceled many travel plans throughout this time, as I was constantly needing to be prepared for an unclear move date. Pelican Movers (moving company) completing overcharged me from my Moving Binding Estimate made with the broker (******************) who organized my move ($4,750 instead of $3,500). There was no clear explanation for any of the additional charges (fuel surcharge, containers for packing and unpacking, platinum pack labor, and for additional space).I received multiple damaged items, some broken items, and a few missing items. The owner of Pelican Movers shared that I had only one damaged item (my sauna), and then I found many other items damaged and broken.

I just recently used Metro Vanlines. They used Pelican Movers LLC to move my items.First, they were late but wanted to charge me extra for them being late.Then a lot of my furniture ended up with would cracks or was broken when delivered. They did not package your items very well and also wanted to charge you extra for packaging and you had already paid for packaging. I highly recommend that you do not use this company for anything at all.

They double my price. Made use sign contract before they gave me another price. Never told use when stuff would arrive. Contacted company no response
