On Wednesday November 16,2022 I turned in my 2016 ****** Altima at the ***************** Total Care, a shop that does transmission work. That morning before I dropped my car off, I placed a shoebox in the trunk of my car, and headed straight to the shop. I was getting my transmission replaced. They had my car from November 16th until Friday November the 18th. On the 18th which was Friday, I got a called to pick up my car a hour before I had to go to work. I had to be at work for 10:45 am, my car was ready at 9:30 am. I go pick my car. Everything seem find the work was good. No problem my transmission is working good. No issue with the service done to the car. Im heading to work now. I work my shift and Im off 6pm.I work at ******************************* Paints in Gretna. Now Im going head by my cousin to go shoot some shots. He has a basketball rim at his home. I arrive their pop the trunk immediately. I get out open the trunk and the shoe box is open and empty. Remember I put the shoes in my trunk the morning before I dropped the car off at the shop. Within those days they had to go through my car and search my personal belongings. Those shoes are not normal shoes. You they are rare and expensive. And also have sentimental value. I informed the shop via Email. The shop owner called me and didnt do anything but call me a liar. And took his employees side.He said This never happened before. I asked all my guys and they didnt see any shoes. He kept asking are you sure you didnt miss place them? He was no help. His name is ***** and he is bilingual. He didnt call me a liar verbally but the way he asked me and just took his guys word was he way of doing so. Whoever the guy that stole my shoes is also trying to sell them on a sneaker app. That shows you the value of my stolen shoes. Even used they are expensive they dont make them anymore. And someone from this shop stoled them. I would like help here. I paid ***** dollars to get my car fixed, not to have stolen from it too.
