      I purchased a used transmission from Fayard for my 2013 VW Jetta I paid *******. When the transmission came in I paid the **************************************** **** to install the transmission after it was installed the dealership said Fayard sold me a bad transmission it was stuck in 2nd gear. I asked the salesman at Fayard what if the transmission not good He said that they test their parts before selling them and I could get a refund. I went back with my receipt he told me I had to speak with the owner so I explained to the owner I just bought a transmission from them for ******* it was bad transmission stuck in 2n gear . He ask for a professional diagnostic I gave him the diagnostic I got from the dealership. He was shock that I had a professional one. He said that they check their auto parts. I said than you knew u was selling me a bad transmission. I asked for a refund he wouldn't give me a refund. He said he would order me another replacement from ********** but I have to pay for the shipping cost which he said came up to 700 dollars. I don't have money like that I just want a refund.

      I can understand the customer's desire for a refund. In this case, we have policies in which we must stand by in his particular case. This particular customer ordered a "SPECIAL ORDER" part which had to come in from out of town and it was "USED". The item had to be specially ordered and documents were signed by the client understanding in this particular transaction, that it was "all sales are final" order. The item comes with a 30 day Parts only warranty and if part is no good, the customer pays shipping for this item to be returned and another item ships to our establishment.  It must be within the 30 days requirement. Customer agreed to our policy, signed the agreement and went through with the order. The item was considered to be defective, by his bringing in from the dealership a receipt proving that it was installed by a legitimate mechanic. We're willing to honor our warranty in replacing the item but the client has not returned since early December. The client must pay for the item to be returned ($335. approx) and another item coming from the west coast for approx $355.00 for replacement. He agreed at first, (we ordered transmission) midway through the next day, he called and cancelled the item, stating that he did not have the money to go forward. We only have a couple more days for him to follow through, but once the item is past the 30 days from date of sale, we're done. Please inform customer that we cannot keep dragging our feet on this sale, it is under time constraint. Time is of the essence on this Part. We try and satisfy each and every client that comes to our establishment, but we understand that it's impossible to satisfy EVERY customer. Call us if you have any questions. *************

      The owner **** and i spoke about a truck engine i purchased from him. the engine was a bad engine and had a30 day warranty on it. he was supposed to have my truck fixed in about a week or two he said after he receive the engine. he called me a week after the engine arrived to bring my truck. i brought it the day he ask me to and he had it about 2 weeks. after receiving my truck it ran really bad. i went back to him he said try using thicker oil if that don't work after a week or two, come back. i went back and he was never there. one time i finally reached him. i went in with my receipts and we looked at the dates and agreed it was within warranty. he said he would buy me another engine and i would have to pay for labor. i agreed on that because he have signs that reads no warranty on labor. its been two week now and he's never there or on a call. its been a terrible experience doing business with this place not to mention im now out of more than $2500.00. i have supporting docs.

      This client purchased a "SPECIAL ORDERERED ENGINE" which was something we do not stock. It had to be brought in from another STATE and it is something we do not refund. It's a NORMALITY in the PARTS Business throughout the US. If you call any Parts store and make a "SPECIAL ORDER", it's something that's "ALL SALES FINAL " sale. THanks,
