We hired Allworx to install an 18x33x52 oval above ground pool and build a deck. They came out on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 to begin the pool install and told us they would be finished the following day (Wednesday, June 1, 2022). Unfortunately, this didn't happen. They are inconsistent and make excuses/lies constantly. We had to call/text on a regular basis just to see if they were planning to show up or not. It would normally be 2 or 3 in the afternoon before they came, and they would be gone before 5PM most days. We pointed out issues with the liner, walls and that the ground was not level. They assured us everything was fine. They finally had the pool up, filling with water on June 16, 2022- over 2 weeks after they said they would be done. They left my house in Walker to drive to back to Livonia to pick another person up that they had working with them. Approximately 30 minutes after leaving my house, I heard the dogs crying outside and a loud crashing type noise. When I came outside, the pool walls burst, ripped the liner and 19,000 gallons of water from the pool flooded our yard. Pieces from the pool and filter got washed away, never to be found, and the pool is completely ruined. They promised to "make it right" and reimburse us for the price of the pool, filter and pool install deposit we already paid. After a few days of no communication with them, we sent an email advising them of our plans to report them and have our attorney file a civil suit against them, they texted and asked if they could make payments to reimburse us, which we agreed. Now, we have not heard from neither **** ******, the owner, or ***** ***** ****** (unsure if they are married or not) since 06/22/22 when they promised to have our first payment by the end of the week (which was 06/24/22). They have now been reported to LA contractor licensing board and the LA Attorney General's Office. Attorney will file suit this week.
