On the night of May 9, 2023, I noticed my car was missing from my parking lot. The following day I contacted my leasing office to see if they had it towed. It was still working but I had recently gotten a new one and hadn’t used the old one that had been towed for about a month. The leasing office, smith properties, claimed to not know anything about the issue. So I called all the towing agency’s near me until I found my car and was informed by ****** towing agency in Hammond, Louisiana that they had my car and they were contacted by smith properties to tow it. When I reached back out to smith properties, I was told by an office worker that the property manager, ******, had my car towed but I was not allowed his contact information and he will not be contacting me. I was also informed that supposedly ****** had tried to contact me before having it towed but that is a lie. I have not received any contact from smith properties reaching out to me via email, call or in person. I feel as though my car was stolen because I was not contacted and now my property manager refuses to speak to me and I don’t have my car. I would like for smith properties to pay to have my car removed from the towing agency due to not contacting me about it being towed.
