    Dropped off my 2017 Ford F150 to Tangi Car Care on November 24th, 2023 due to noises coming from motor. Tangi Car Care diagnosed as fuel pump follower, cam phases, rockers and lifters needing replaced. Tangi Car Care reached out to my warranty company (******** **** ******) to get repairs authorized. Repairs were authorized. Tangi Car Care had multiple issues with bolts breaking and not having correct tools to complete the work. After having to do multiple orders for parts and tools. Vehicle was finally repaired and ready for pick up on January 13th, 2024. Due to my work schedule, my brother picked it up from Tangi Car Care on my behalf. On January 21st, vehicle jumped timing and put my brother on the side of the interstate while he was driving it. Vehicle was towed to Tangi Car Care on January 23rd to have them look at it. Tangi Car Care diagnosed that the motor needed to be replaced due to woodruff key shearing. Tangi Car Care submitted claim to my warranty company. Warranty company denied claim due to improper repair originally by Tangi Car Care. Tangi Car Care quoted me over $13,000 for new motor. Had vehicle towed to Ford dealership for second opinion. Ford diagnosed as the high-pressure fuel pump failing and causing it to jump timing. After speaking with several mechanics over the last 24 hours, not replacing the crank shaft bolt originally can cause the high-pressure fuel pump to fail. Either they did not replace the bolt and caused the failure, or they misdiagnosed my truck originally and it led to the failure. I am seeking repayment for motor. Over $13,000 as per the attached receipt.

    We dropped off our 2017 Ford F150 at Tangi Car Care on November 25th, 2023, for a job that is estimated to take roughly 22 hours of labor. We chose this shop because it was one of the few shops that excepted our warranty. We called them ahead of time and explained the problem and they assured us that they could do this job. After a week we called them, and they told us they didn't have the correct tools and the tools were on back order. Roughly a week later they called us and told us the tool came in and the truck would be ready in two days. Two days passed and we called back three days after the last phone call. At this point they informed us that they had to order another part. About ten days later we called again, and they said the part came in and the truck should be ready in a couple days. Days later we still haven't heard from them. Once again we called them. Now they're telling us that the mechanic who has been working on the truck was out sick and that he'd be back in two days. They assured us not to worry and that once he's back he'll have the truck fixed in two days. Three days after he's suppose to be back we called again. Now they're telling us two more days. We called back in two days, and now they say it'll be ready tomorrow. We call back numerous times over the next 3 weeks, and we are given the run around every time we try to get information on the truck. (When they aren't ignoring our calls that is). They must've told us ten different times the truck will be ready in a day or two. We finally got the truck on January 13th, 2024. This shop is extremely unprofessional and could careless about the inconvenience that their incompetence was causing. They in no way tried to remedy the situation at all. They had this truck for little over 7 weeks for a 22-hour job. Absolutely unacceptable.
