As of January 1, 2023 the contractor was on the last phase of completing repairs to my home due to Hurricane *** August 29, 2021. The final touches are; Inside *************** backsplashes, shelving, ***************** doors and floor seals. In the later part of December she started giving me excuses that the store cancelled the order. It had to be recorded & will be in January. January here, I get a call saying she needs more money. I explained that when she completed the job fully that my mortgage company will reimburse the remainder of what she paid out. which is a little over $12,000.00. This is in addition to what my insurance company has already paid out to her & this company- which is $120,000.00. She kept calling me telling me she needs $26,000, then $10,000 more out of my pocket like I have that kind of money. The weekend of January 20th I was getting my home alarm installed when I realized that ********* crew had entered my home w/o my knowledge & removed my ************************ that were paid for by my insurance company to her. My home is only 900 sz ft. Her estimate started at $65,000.00, by and my insurance company has paid this & more. From this I have filed a ************* report with my local sheriff's office. I am in a trailer on my property scheduled to move out and return it back to FEMA by the end of February, 2023. As of now I will be in my home with no inner doorframes or doors for privacy. I also just found out that an electrical socket is not working: I will need to get another electrician I left a text message stating this - as of now no reply. My fear is the longer I have no door frames the worse it will get on my sheetrock.
