I paid ** Monument $425.00 on 01-16-2022 and $198.75 on 02-02-2022 for engraving and opening and closing of my deceased spouse's crypt door. After months of attempting to contact ** and would never get a reply, I was able to reach ********************************* at ************ and she stated that they would be taking the crypt door off the following day that was in May 2022. A week later, ******* phoned and stated they are not allowed in St. ****** cemetery and I could go to ** and get a refund. I called a week later to pick up my refund and ******* stated that I needed to speak with ***************************, payroll person at **. ************. Ms. ******** to inform me that she knows nothing about me or the refund. I was very upset and phoned ******* back and I informed her that I would notify the authorities and she said go ahead that they could not do anything . It was a civil matter and to take her to small claims. ************** called me on June 06 and stated that i could go to ** on June 10 and pick up my refund between 2;30 and 3;30; however, the morning of June 06, ************** phones and tells me they do not have my money. After contacting the diocese cemetery administrator to find out the ** was informed at least a year ago that they were not allowed in Dioceses Cemeteries . My concern is they knowingly took my money with the knowledge of knowing they were not allowed in the cemetery from the beginning. This company is very deceptive and I have read reviews of other individuals that were deceived also. I want a refund because I have paid another company to do the engraving. My husband's urn has not been able to place in his resting place due this company's dishonesty. I find it very disheartening for a company to take advantage of grieving families.
