I booked a car rental on the **** website ***** 17, 2021 for a September 10, 2021 reservation and paid in full. I cancelled Aug.11th one month ahead of the company three day prior to reservation cancellation refund policy. I emailed their website to cancel as per their instructions...I heard back from no one. I gave it 72 hours before calling **** directly. The female employee told me she was busy with customers and to call back in an hour...this happened 3 times waiting one hour between calls. At my insistence she finally took my information regarding the cancellation and said she'd get back with, never did. I emailed **** again the next day from my personal email to create a paper trail for my bank regarding request to refund and filed a dispute for the **** transaction. My bank did initially refund my **** on Aug.25, 2021, but **** refused to refund the bank and after 60 days of disputes **** stated, "the customer can have the disputed amount refunded to them. Refund was denied due to system glitches," the bank in good faith to their response told us to work with **** directly and took back the credited funds that the bank fronted us on Oct.27, 2021, we are out the money again. When my husband called **** on Oct. 29 2021 ******, an employee, assured him they had refunded that day. It was a complete lie, they never refunded. We called **** back on Nov. 8, 2021 and after getting the run around ******************* the supposed manager (who knows if that's her real name or title) admitted no refund was ever issued because she felt **** should have refunded not **** and hung up on me; she then refused to take follow up calls or resolve the situation after numerous attempts. I have filed complaints with the BBB, the ************************ and the ********* Attorney **************** Do not use this company.
