      I hired Vinyltech to replace gutters on our building based on the commercial stating you have a problem, I will make sure to make it right..............by the owner *****. This has not happened. I have spoken with representatives and even ***** himself. He stated don't worry I will make sure it if taken care of..................then he has ignored it. He has ignored the contractor and myself who has called at least 13 times. Today I was told that he is not in the office much. There is no timeline for him to return the calls or if he will return the calls.

      I am the owner ***********************.  I went out to the building around the time this report was filed.   The building is not leaking from the gutters that we installed.  The building is leaking for various reasons because of the metal roof that was installed improperly by others.  Some of the issues are as follows, the panels are too short, there are screws in the standing seam ribs, some of the panels are bent down and holding water and have tears in the ribs in those areas.  There is evidence of prior leaks in those areas that have been attempted to fix with a roof sealant.  Please see attached pics.

      We hired Vinyltech in ******* ** in November 2022 to repair damage from the hurricane. Our initial meeting with the sales rep went very well. He assured us that the work would be a 2 day job. We took him for his word. Now, June 2023 it has yet to be completed. Without this time an extreme lack of communication. The job was not started until April. The first crew ripped everything off our house (mobile home). When doing so they damaged areas that were to remain in place. That crew did not return. A different crew showed up and had to repair the damage the first crew caused. The Vinyltech rep would consistently tell us that a crew would be there and no one would show up until days later. When they did show up they would work from 10am-3pm on an average. Usually due to lack of material. Here it is June 2023 and we have yet to see our house repairs completed. So much for a 2 day job! Havent heard from our Vinyltech Rep for close to a month. Regrets.

      Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, as upper management was unaware of this issue. Some projects such as this one have delays due to negotiations with insurance, and also due to delays on acquiring some materials from local suppliers in a hurricane-affected area. Our understanding is that the last scope of work for this project, gutters, will be completed this week. We share the same desired outcome of getting projects completed in as fast of a timeline as possible, as that grants homeowners to enjoy their restored *********** to proceed on upcoming projects.

      I am reaching out because I hired Vinyltech back in September to replace my roof as a result of ***. The workers that came out destroyed so much stuff that I now have to replace my microwave and cost me $845 (when it was replaced all the roofing material was clogging up my vent), they draped a tarp over my A/C unit which made it freeze over I had to get the fan motor replaced and cost me $600 (he credited me $500 for the A/C), they broke 2 of my stepping stones, they destroyed my soffit and fascia where there is all kinds of roofing material coming out of it now and it is separated from each other. I had a contractor come out to start fixing the ceiling but, he wanted to check to make sure the leak wont happen again and discovered that the roofing shingles are not even installed properly up against the house which will leak if we get heavy rain and wind again (he sent another roofer out to fix this). I reported this to the ** I was working with and I feel like he might just have too much on his plate right now. I know he had a lot going on with the storm in ******* but, I have been more than patient with waiting to have all these things taken care of, I even had to pay additional cost when they removed the old roof of $1400 which I reluctantly paid on top of the $19,975 that I already spent. The roof was replaced in 2014 and was only $14,000 for the house and my deck roof (which I did not have vinyltech replace to save money since insurance only gave me a set amount). I understand inflation but, I just feel like I have been wronged in this situation and just want it made right. I have attached pictures and the receipts of everything.

      We deeply apologize for your experience so far. Management was not aware of this issue and we are determined to make this right. A different Vinyltech representative will be reporting to the property tomorrow to meet with the homeowner and assess the issues mentioned above, and then we can determine the best course of action to move forward.       They installed concrete siding on my home about 10 years ago. It was slightly damaged from Hurricane ***. Several pieces were blown away. One piece is still hanging. I have phoned them 4 times about repairs since Hurricane *** and they never return the call.
