On February 3, 2024 I was sold a 2009 ***** cx9 by preferred motors. On April 11th, 2024 my ***** would not move once placed into drive. I alerted preferred motors on this day and they told me to have it towed to a repair facility for the warranty. The car was deemed unsafe by team ***** as the frame is so rusted it could not support its own weight on the lift to be diagnosed and the safety of employees and they also informed me of an airbag recall. The car was then reported to TransTech and the reported they could not fix or diagnose it and took videos and pictures of the unsafe conditions. The car cannot be driven or repaired due to the amount of rust on the frame and the fact that it crumbles in your hand. I have called preferred motors a few times and they will not *************. I would like a safer vehicle or refund.Business response

Our customers have the option to test drive, check out the vehicles and we also allow them to bring the vehicle to their own mechanic to get inspected. We get our vehicles serviced and to the best of our knowledge they are ready to be sold! The title is a clean title with no frame damage. ************ did not have an issue servicing this vehicle.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Mercedes-Benz 350 GLK-Class on 8/23/2022the amount I paid was 19,366.94 the business committed was to sell me a reliable vehicle with no issued with the vehicle I also purchased an extended warranty for 3,000 which is included in the price. I notice a noise was coming from the front of vehicle so I reach out to Mr. Julian at Preferred Motors to let him know about the situation with my vehicle and he told me to bring it to a mechanic shop I try three and two doesn't except the warranty which is GWC so I went to Mercedes-Benz To find out what going on with my vehicle isn't cover. I asked Mr. Julian does this warranty cover any and everything on the hood. He say it cover from the front to back of the bumper. to find out that wasn't the case. I guess in so many word I purchased a lemon please help. Also I call Mr. Julian at ###-###-####Business response

We are very sorry you are going through this. Any vehicle warranties do not cover normal wear and tear. We tried to assist by calling Mercedes of New Orleans and they do accept the GWC warranty. The parts you needed was tires, brakes, and motor mounts, these parts are considered normal wear and tear and is the responsibility of the vehicles owner to purchase new tires and breaks. **** **** had called us and said that the mechanic shops wont take her warranty, which was incorrect. She was also given paperwork at time of the purchase to show everything that was covered.
