    On Dec. 15, 2021 I gave a check in the amount of $836.50 (1/2 of the required fee) for security lights to be purchased & installed. On Dec. 27 - John Bourque & helper came & did the wiring in our attic. Later that day he called & requested part of the remainder of his total fee. I said I would pay the remaining half upon completion of the job. Ever since then he has given me nothing but excuses why the lights never came in. I told him I wanted my money back. He did respond with a text message on Jan. 6, 2022 saying I would receive a full refund that day. I have not heard from him since. Given the fact that nothing he told me has ever come to pass, I have my doubts that any wiring was actually done on Dec. 27th.

    On 12/20/2021 Mr. John ******* did call to find out what work I needed to have done. I told him that I thought the heating element to my clothes dryer needed to be replaced because it was not drying the clothes. He said he would be here shortly. He did work on the dryer and stated it was not the heating element that it was the heating sensor. He said that he had one in the truck and would replace it. His service charge and replacement of the sensor was $160.00. I had run out of checks and went to the nearest ATM and gave him $160.00 in cash. He said the girls in the office would be sending out an invoice. I have yet to receive an invoice. On 12/24/20, I attempted to dry a load of clothes and upon turning the dryer on I heard a loud popping noise, and a plume of white smoke was coming out of the back of the dryer. I turned the vent on the stove and opened the door to get the smoke out of the area. There was no heat involved at this time. I called Mr. ******* and he said he was in Morgan City and would be here in a couple of hours. As soon as he walked in, he said he would have to charge $60.00 for his service call. Which I again went to an ATM for the $60.00. He again stated he would send an invoice by email. My daughter lives with me and he asked her to send him her email address so he could contact either myself or my daughter. He stated the reason for the popping sound was that the vent was filled with lint and that we needed to contact the apt. manager to have someone come out to clean it. About 2 hours after he left, he did call my daughter telling her he was in a bind and needed some money she tried to explain to him that she did not have any money, but he kept insisting that he was in a bind and need some money and that he would give her $165.00 and the money she would give him on Tuesday. He then wanted her to ask me for the money. She told him I was asleep, and he told her to wake me up. She said that I had been ill with bronchitis, and she was not going to wake me. He was becoming extremely agitated wanting to get some money. I did not want to file a complaint because I was afraid that he would come back. Yesterday on 1/17/2022 I did attempt to dry a load of clothes and the dryer would run 8 minutes and turn off. I did try every setting and it would only run 8 minutes before shutting down. The initial contact with Mr. ******* was through Home Advisor and have notified them of the situation. I will attach an email my daughter received from Mr. ******* on the 24th. At least I will attempt to do so.
