7/25/22 CTi of Acadiana dispatched 2 men to do a job for us (Although Ron of CTi says he knew every detail of the job because the crew writes a report but that don't mean they did it right & wasn't here to observe. Scheduled a 5-day job, they got in a rush the last 1.5 days they were here & basically done a sloppy job. Was told not to walk on surface for 24hrs by the foreman but he was walking on surface with cowboy boots. Followed instructions & not walk on it. Observed spots that their underlying material was showing through (white spots). Cracks not been prepped & filled correctly which there is a 3yr warranty on workmanship, (FAULTY WORK). Immediately took pics of this & sent to Ron, No response until 9/20 when we received an email that they would be here 10/5/22. Out of town that day notified Ron. Heard from Ron until late Dec that they be here 1/5/23. Jan 5th, no show. Contacted Ron said had issues on other job. 1/6/23 they show up around 1:pm, all they did was spot paint (a different color) on spots. No other corrections whatsoever. Ron said he'd come, look at it 1/12/23, sprayed a clear liquid on the spots and would blend in but haven't. There was a chip from a crack Ron blaming it on expansion joint etc. He took a tool and chipped it even worse than it was & now says he won't fix it but made it worse we call that vandalism. Asked Ron why material didn't go over the cracked areas smooth, he said it dipped into where crack was which tells me RIGHT THERE the crack WASN'T filled properly as he was in a hurry that day. Done right you shouldn't see the crack& needs fixed. Got a threat call from Ron prior to this that if a review wasn't taken down, he would stop his crew that were on their way. he fails to take responsibility for what his unexperienced worker did is no longer with company. With that said there is a 3yr warranty on workmanship and faulty work and CTi needs take responsibility on these issues & needs corrected. Thank you for your assistance on this.

We have received the concerns from Mr. and Mrs. *******. I went out to the project myself to review their complaint. I even sent my crew out to do the touchups and touch up the color that they had an issue with which we completed to satisfaction. They are still having issues with the cracks that have returned on the carport and patio, I reviewed with them and explained to them that cracks chips along cracks, and the lamination along cracks are not something that is covered under warranty and is clearly stated in our estimate as well as our warranty. On phone calls with me personally, Mrs. *******, use curse words and got very heated. Started calling me a liar and my crew names. She referred to my crew leader as a quack, and does not wanna hear anything that I have to say. I tried to communicate with her clearly in plain language for her to understand that cracks or something that we cannot control. We do not pour concrete or finish concrete. We only do decorative applications on top of concrete. she over and over said that if it was installed correctly that it would not crack and that is just not factual, that is why our warranty does not cover cracks simply because we cannot control if the substrate under the overlay cracks, any rigid material on top of that will crack as well  I was going to as a courtesy go back and touch up one of the larger chips along one of the cracks it’s not covered under warranty again I was going to do it as a courtesy until she got really rude and irate and started calling my crew names. Again, I just cannot send my crew into that kind of setting , she says over and over that I can’t vouch for what my crew did, and what work was accomplished, but we have records and notes every single day of exactly what was done on each step of the progress. Our system was prepped correctly and installed correctly. We did have a number of weather delays in their installation process, but that did not affect the overall standards that we follow. I am very sorry that we cannot come to some resolution, but at this point they just do not want to understand the fax and understand the warranty that we have clearly stated from the beginning.

      Complaint: 18699456

I am rejecting this response because: First of all, everything he said in the rebuttal is a lie. Ron is making unprofessional excuses. And my wife didn't curse. The only word she used was damn and it was on the phone call where Ron (CTi was screaming and threatening us to take a negative review off the website or he would call the crew that was on the way to come back. The matter was with the first worker ******* who stated to us that he was not experienced on our type of job but is no longer with CTi but was with the company only six months and a foreman while another worker been with the company five years. Nothing has been said regards the latest workers whom Ron sent to touch up paint job. There is peeling and cracking which is covered under workmanship. Ron ***** is using petty excuses to get out of doing his job. The spots touched up with paint are still a different color. The lead worker took a picture on the crack right after the crew got there and there wasn't no chip gone. The crew then went on painting the spots and going back and forth to the truck with equipment and could have walked over the spot not thinking about it and unintentionally actually chipping it out as we stayed out of the way while they worked. After the crew left, we walked around and noticed the chip was gone and small chucks was on the driveway about eight inches away from the chipped spot which I believed the workers walked on it and the chunks were scattered close by which would fall under company's liability and responsibility. Ron came out (Jan 12) and sprayed some clear liquid on the spots and said the paint would blend in but they haven't. He was sarcastic, rude and harassing to us that day. He told us he didn't intend to correct anything. We have 2 large cracks never filled completely or correctly. The day (Jan 12) Ron took a tool and chipped the hole even bigger and made it worse than what it was and left it. We paid a lot of money for this job and as a customer we are entitled to a good job. Ron has acted childish and in an unprofessional manner. All We want is our job done in a professional manner. Ron was not here when the original job was done. All he knows is what ***** (original foreman) reported back to him, but you can type anything in a report, but did he do it right and correctly? I even asked Ron why the material dipping down in some spots. He told me that the material went into the cracks which tells me ***** didn't fill up the cracks completely and correctly which falls under faulty workmanship. Now Fon refused to take responsibility for his foreman's (******) mess. As far as the workers sent to spot paint, there has been no problem with them, but they could only do what Ron told them to do and they apologized several times for his behavior. He has done nothing but lie and use excuses to try to disregard his responsibility. This will not be acceptable under any circumstances. Along the edge to the driveway, they should have followed the crack as they are the ones that put the tape down. And different spots are cracking that could have been avoided if ***** would have put the tape on the other side of the crack and wouldn't be cracking which falls under faulty workmanship Ron needs to put on his big boy pants and do his job.

      Sincerely,
      ***** *******

I will be more that happy to meet **** *** *** to explain further.  *** *** *** ** *** ******** **** * **** **** ****** **** *** *********  I have not lied and have no basis to move forward if they just think I am not telling the truth.  I have tried to explain clearly but they don’t want to hear it.  I have full faith in my crews and the job that we can done.  As I said before - I offered to fix the spot that broke up at the crack as a courtesy, this is not covered under warranty. But they made it very clear that they were getting an attorney. Therefore, I will not do any further work on this project.  We have honored all our responsibilities to our warranty, and I went myself to verify and assure that.
