      I called today, got a check in the mail, but no account number to show what the check is for. Called the number on the letter and the lady told me that without account number she can't help me, and that if I don't want the check, to just send it back. I went on the internet, found the local number and told the lady what happened with the first lady, and found out that the check was for my husband, but was under my name. So she helped me resolve the problem, but I told her I was filing a complaint with the BBB because of the customer service with the first lady. It would be helpful to put the account number and reasoning on the checks that are being sent out. This is a shame what a customer has to go through just to get an an answer. Y'all suck.

      I was in emergency room at ******** ******** in October 2020 during the pandemic. I had lost my job & had no insurance. I saw physician on call and had a MRI (I had fallen on my head). I received the bill from ******** who waived all but $500.00, ******** NEVER sent me a bill, itemized or otherwise. They sent me straight to collections for over $2,400.00. Two years later, after repeated requests, I have yet to receive a bill for the $2,400.00 I have no idea what the amount is attributed to, As a result of this, my credit has been ruined....to date I am making $10.00 a paycheck payments to the collection agency. Blindly. as I have no idea what I am paying for. I obviously would never voluntarily use any of their facilities....

      EMBCC isn't accessible & Don't answer phones. I've tried for 2 weeks to call and make payment and always get the same phone voice message stating that need to call back during regular business hours. I call during the regular business hours and the same message repeats. It's as if someone forgot to turn off the recorded message and don't want to have to answer phones. My payment is due today and although I've tried for over a week to make it no one answers. I tried the I Lost my Bill option and it gives me another number to call that gives me the same recorded message about calling during regular business hours- which I am doing so I don't know what else to do. I'm sure they'll send me a nasty letter next saying I will he turned over to collections for non payment.

      I am a physician, and I would be furious if my patients had an experience like I had with EMBCC.

      We received a bill after an ER visit that led to my son being admitted for two nights. Shortly after receiving the bill, my insurance sent and EOB showing that the balance had been paid through the HRA. I contacted EMBCC to clear up the discrepancy. Spoke to an agent who instructed me to email her the EOB and that it would be taken care of. This was in JULY. She failed to help despite us sending the EOB multiple times (including uploading it through their internal system as requested). Spoke to a different agent with the same results. Eventually, our account was "upgraded to the payment tracking team" so they could find the HRA payment. EMBCC failed here too.

      I contacted my insurance and had them call EMBCC to explain. I was actually part of a 3-way call between their agent and my insurance company. EMBCC FAILED AGIN to correct my balance. Now, I start receiving bills threatening to turn us over to collections.

      To shorten this very long saga, I called at least 10 separate times (probably more like 15+) with absolute failure on EMBCC's part every single time. Finally, now in DECEMBER, I have spoken to a 3rd supervisor who has finally corrected the balance owed and said our account was on the verge of being turned over to collections.

      The most amazing part is that EMBCC kept detailed noted of each conversation (quite possibly the only good thing they did). So, this supervisor was able to see that every single agent I spoke to should have been able to fix this very simple issue as we had provided the EOB already. She was unable to offer any explanation as to why we were treated like this other than "it looks like multiple agents just dropped the ball on this".

      This experience was disgraceful. The number of bills we received threatening collections felt like harassment. I think that I went above and beyond what the typical consumer/patient is expected to do. Yet, I get the sense that there will be no discipline or remediation to any of the agents who absolutely FAILED to perform their jobs. Nearly 6 MONTHS of being ignored, transferred, leaving voicemails without response, and being threatened with collections in unacceptable. Again, as a physician myself, I would promptly fire this billing service as I would be completely ashamed to discover my patients were treated this way. EMBCC's performance will affect which providers I choose to see in the future.

      FAILURE after FAILURE on this level is inexcusable.

      I saw this business on my collections account which is FRAUD!!!! I had the bill date around the same time I visited Miami for a girls trip. Never went to a clinic, never seen by a doctor, never went to a COVID screening center, NOTHING MEDICAL RELATED. Charged me for over $2,000.00.

      EMBCC sent me a bill. Which does not seen legitimate and I do not think they filed with my insurance first before sending this bill. The bill is for over 2K. I called and I receive an automated speaker saying all representatives are in training and to call another time. A legitimate business DOES NOT OPERATE that way. They don't send ALL in training at the same time. Bull. Answer my call.

      I keep getting billed $1416 and another over $2000 for emergency physicians I have seen this year- problem is my insurance claims clearly show I only owe ~$250ish and $480ish per visit as they vary when I spoke to customer service they said oh your insurance probably sent you the check to send to us. So I three way called EMBCC customer service and my insurance Horizon BCBS of NJ, and my insurance clearly stated they had paid out directly to the company and never to me and I was told it would be handled and it has yet to be. EMBCC is a bunch of scam artists!

      This company again reported me to collections after I was off of it. When I call to even attempt to pay the small balance they can't even pull up my account. So they report you over and over and you can't even pay it off to be done with it. Worse company ever. No wonder their reviews are horrible and everyone reviews one star on here.
