LHC had a third party vendor, “TrueScreen” run a background report on me without my permission. I never signed anything nor gave verbal consent. I completed my annual free credit report and found through that report on 2/10/2022 a hit from LHC on my credit report. I reached out to the company and no response. I want to know why they did this without my consent. Again I am filing a formal complaint against LHC as 1.) never gave verbal nor written consent for them to run a background check 2.) never worked for them. Please fix this.Business response

Good Afternoon,
**** ******** our HR Operations Team Lead, spoke with *** ******* on 2/20/2023 and explained that he applied, was offered a position and completed onboarding task. However, he did not come on board or start working with LHC Group. When they spoke, she informed him that we were able to see that he completed onboarding tasks and the Background Check request was one of the tasks that he completed, he responded that he recalled that occurring. She did let him know that there was not a credit report ran from the Background Check. He asked for the number to ******** (our background check vendor), and she gave him the number.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 19426997, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I will add that ******** actually did hit my credit report “accidentally “ and caused a decrease in my credit score because of the credit report that was ran.
