The following occurred in 2016: (Now my roof is leaking and Shannon ****** keeps promising to come out and never does) 9/29 was suppose to start on roof (NO SHOW) 9/30 no warning, started roof, removed skylights without warning with falling debris on inside, no protection, left ruts, no one spoke English 10/01 finished roof, Shane arrived unannounced with a very bad attitude to inspect roof, a whirlie bird vent was installed on vaulted ceiling (never a vent there before), did not install 2 box roof vents over garage (communicated in email). 10/01 Wanted payment in full even though he received my insurance information stating how payments were going to be made by my insurance company. PAID $7,000 10/02 I personally inspected roof the next day and found no new flashing on north and south sides of house, protruding nail, no caulking on south side pipes and vents, no new flashing over garage, gutters full of debris (nails and other) 10/03 notified of problem, no response 10/04 (2) Mexican men arrived unannounced, caulked the south side pipes and vents??? 10/04 PAID BALANCE IN FULL before receiving the final payment from my insurance company 10/05 notified again 10/06 Shannon? Shane? Responded he was on a commercial project and would finish my roof on Friday, no later than Saturday. (NO SHOW) 10/12 notified again 10/13 responded he was at manufacturing meeting and would be in touch 10/17 my wife called and Shannon said he would talk with Shane and get back with us. 10/22 This is the 5th time I will asked you to finish your work. The following must be taken care of by 10/28/2016: 1. Fill in the ruts in my front yard 2. Fix the protruding nail and clean out my gutters 3. Install ALL new flashing 4. Install (2) box vents over garage If you do not complete ALL of the items above, I will: 1. Report you to the LSLBC Board, BBB and the Consumer Protection Bureau in Baton Rouge. 2. Write a negative review on Google Review, FaceBook, Yelp, Angie's List, etc. 4.. Put a sign in my yard to inform my neighbors of your shoddy work 3. Call ATLAS manufacture of the shingles, KLFY, KATC, the Daily Advertiser and Baton Rouge Advocate and any other news organization who will listen. Do you treat all your customers in this way; where they must take proactive steps hoping to get a response or action out of you? My house was damaged by a leaky roof from the flood. There are but 8 homes who did not flood in my neighborhood of approximately 120 who did flood. Most homes are not livable and people are struggling to get back into their homes. There are 5 new roofs being installed in my neighborhood (not Ducote). I have been nice, understanding, patient, up front and honest. You on the other hand have been............(fill in the blanks). My roof started leaking November 15th 2022. After repeated calls and text messages, Shannon is no longer responding.
