***** **** met with me and the insurance adjuster on 10/20/2023. ***** **** insured me they worked with insurance companies all the time and informed me they can save me some money. Once I received the Settlement statement from USAA I forward the entire appraisal to *****, and the 1st cashier payment iao $7,962.74 and I was scheduled for Nov 1, 2023 for Roofing Guys to started replacing my roof. In Dec 22 2023, I received the 2nd payment $11, 366.89 from USAA and gave it to ***** on 01/10/2024 iao $ 11,376.89. (Over paid $10). In between the phone calls back and fourth with ******* and ***** telling me about a 3rd party company who will be the negotiators for them to get more money from the insurance company and I would not have to pay my deductible. They said they do this all the time. This went on and on from last year to this year. I decided to meet with the *** ******* ***** *** **********. In the meeting ****** ********, he explained and showed me where they have gotten money back for other Customers. I informed him I will think about it. After carefully thinking about it I felt like I’m being scammed and digging myself into deep hole. I contacted ***** and ******* and informed them I don’t feel comfortable doing this. I also informed them the 3rd party company want me to sign a contract with them at $350 per hour. ***** and ******* informed me the extra money they get from USAA I will not have to pay my deductible and they pay Irwin & Associates. I asked for a guarantee (put it in writing) they said they can’t do that. I informed them to sign the contract with the 3rd party they said it’s my house and the 3rd party need my permission to get on the roof. When I talk with ***** and informed him I refused to sign to go with the 3rd party again, ***** had **** call me. **** calls about the same thing and after hanging up with either **** or ***** the 3rd party would call me because they said Roofing Guys called them. Gave ***** my deductible $9,450.00 he said if I call the 3rd party I can keep my deductible I said I don’t want too.******* said he will not take the check with final payment on it because USAA owe them 2 to 3 more checks. I informed him this check is my deductible the part I have to pay. USAA was on the phone while this conversation was going on. I have received a invoice showing I owe $25,180.81. When my insurance deductible is $9,460.00. They refused to take my deductible. (saying it cost $15,720.81 more.) They were not short on supplies the same bin they brought the shingles and supplies in was still at my house over night. ******* or ***** was not at the house only workers. When the workers came the next (11/02/23) morning no one brought any supplies with them. And **** or ***** was not there. This is a scam, over charging, sham, cheating me because I refused to go with the 3rd party company. ****** * **********) I am a disabled Army Veteran and Senior Citizen. And USAA has contacted them, my question to **** & *****, why they did not contact the insurance company, why they didn’t take pictures. USAA has before pictures. How many more people this has happened to. ***** *************
