On April 14, 2023 my car was towed by Robin's. When I went to get the car on May 16, 2023 they had sold my car. In only 33 days they sold my car. Without rights to sell my car. I want the value of car paid to me. 2004 Subaru outback. When I asked for a copy of the sale for court they told me they owed me no such thing.Business response

CUSTEMER CAME TO GET CAR ON MAY 19TH NOT MAY 16TH LIKE THE CUSTEMER STATED . THE VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP FOR NO INSURANCE AND WAS ABANDON HERE FOR 35 DAYS WE FILED FOR PERMISSION TO DISMANTLE AND WAS GRANTED ON MAY 16 2023 , THE CUSTEMER CAME AS I STATED ON MAY 19 2023 . WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO HAD SOLD THE CAR TO THE SCRAP YARD ALREADY WE DID LET HER GET HER BELONGINGS OUT OF THE VEHICLE. THE SALVAGE ON THE VEHICLE DID NOT COVER THE AMOUNT OF THE BILL . THE CAR HAD NO VALUE TO IT WAS OLD AND BEAT UP. HER LAWYER HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH US AND HE HAD ALL THE DOCUMENTS HE NEEDS.

I am rejecting this response because:after speaking with the lsp towing division and having discussed situation with that department i was informed robins towing was supposed ro send a certified letter stating their intention and complete with date of intented sale og my vehicle which i was bot provided. I downloaded a complaint form and will be having then look into the process that was taken in the sale of my car. There should also be pictures. I spent more than 400$ in repairs to car this year alone.

My car got stuck in a ditch this morning. The fee to get my car back was $242 now this afternoon it’s $500. This is a problem there’s no way that this can be legal! I am going to seek legal representation.Business response

We are governed through state regulated prices by law we have to charge certain prices. The owner's son who was in the car could not pay for the winch out. When the car is towed to storage yard there are other fees that accrue for being towed, stored, motor vehicle report, letters if it's after hours there is a charge for that as well.
