On June 23rd I had an appointment with Dr. ***** to discuss release of care or next steps for care. This was after a surgery that was conducted on Feb 23, 2022 at St. ******** Hospital. I was terminated from my job on May 19th due to this and was without insurance at the time of visit. I was informed that there would be no charge for the visit unless I needed additional imaging. I was told this over the phone when I inquired about insurance. On the date of the visit the office said I would need to pay $200 or so and I questioned that, They got a manager to come up and she argued that she was in charge of this area and she would have never advised anyone of that and I was basically not telling the truth, My son gave her a credit card and said we would dispute it later with them and she assumed it would be disputed with bank. She brought the card to the back and then returned later to say she wouldn't allow me to be seen. Since then I called to get medical records and she laughed at me saying we threw the card in her face and she had all of it on video. She is making this difficult to deal with. I need Dr. ***** to release me from his care and to sign off on the forms so I can receive the aflack benefits i paid for. She won't allow any of this to occur and I can't see any other physicians until this happens. There's more to the story but I'm out of space to share. They are flat out refusing to provide my medical records. They also put down that I chose to cancel the appointment when it was she who made that happen. I think her name was *****Business response
