In November of 2022 I was contacted by an ***** *****l. He informed me that I was the next of kin to a ******* ****** ****. ******* was my of 37 years and who had deceased. He explained that ******* had a dormant account though ****** ******* *** **** ******* values at $64,641.00 that was being held by the State of California. He told me he was an authorized agent of the state and could collect it for me. His fee was 10% of the amount which was the agreed amount by the state. As the above date it is now been 8 months since I have heard from Mr. ******. I have sent him over 15 emails, each without a response, and over 20 telephone calls, again, each without a response since last communication with him since June15, 2023.

      To Whom It May Concern,
I trust this message finds you well. My name is ***** ******, and I appreciate the thorough details you have provided for the dormant account claim for ******* ****** ****.
I would like to address the following key points:
Processing Time: As a licensed investigator in the state of California, I rightly noted that the processing time for claims can vary. While it is acknowledged that typical processing can take six to seven months, it is important to emphasize that this timeline is not universal. The State of California explicitly communicates the variability in processing times, and individual cases may deviate from the norm.
Unprofessional Communication: the messages I received were unprofessional and confrontational, most of these came after the state had informed myself and Mr. **** his information was insufficient, this should have been communicated via email by the state.
Insufficient Information and Discontinuation of Agreement: As stated above It has come to our attention that the State of California has informed Mr. **** that the provided information was insufficient. Moreover, Mr. **** expressed his desire to discontinue the agreement following the state's communication. Given this development, and as an investigator, my involvement in the process is no longer necessary. This happens the second the state rejects a claim, Mr. **** is free to proceed with his claim as he sees fit.
As a professional I would highly suggest that Mr. **** contact the state of California for further questions his claim is still on the state website.
We understand the importance of resolving this matter promptly and appreciate your cooperation in bringing these issues to our attention.  I am committed to ensuring a swift and satisfactory resolution for all parties involved and I wish Mr. **** the best.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
      Sincerely,
      ***** ******.
