Wrong hardware was used. He was supposed to give me choices, instead he just put wherever he wanted on it. Was supposed to put a wreath hook that matched hardware. Used a cheap silver indoor hook instead Gate supports are facing wrong way, needs to be turned. Called ****** after digging/no permit End post is not secure. Can easily be shaken. Needs to be correctly installed. Was supposed to leave enough room to change siding on corner of house. Did not. Was supposed to remove all pavers, inspect area, see why dirt was washing away in 2 areas. He was supposed to have 22 pavers delivered to my house. Was supposed to level area, replace all pavers, using new pavers to replace broken ones.  I sent him pics of 3 fences, he chose this one as best for my area.  They built fence too low. Built the fence at an awkward angle instead of level and adding dirt or bricks. Dug out dirt so fence could open. Did no inspect, level, or complete job. Left huge mound of dirt in drainage area that will need to be removed. I’m left with a mess to try to fix. Left buckets of junk concrete for me to deal with. Dumped a bucket of broken concrete in back yard that I had to clean up. We meet 3 times for a tiny simple fence because he was unorganized and took no notes. I gave him 3 designs. He picked this as the best option. He gave me time frame for completion, which he didn’t attempt to adhere to. My husband is very ill, told him I wanted husband to see yard fenced in. He took job knowing there was a time line, but didn’t adhere to it. We went over details. Told him when I’d be out of town with my husband. That’s when he showed up to do the work. He admitted several times he didn’t follow our plan. Told him I wanted to be able to lock and unlock the gate from either side. He thought that meant open the gate from either side.  It was not in the plan at all. He expected me to be responsible for getting rid of all the dirt and fence debris.  I didn't feel it was my responsibility.  With rebuilding the gates, and facing having to repair my destroyed patio, he refused to make his work right. I asked him to remove several jobs off the contract, since he seemed incapable of doing quality work.  He did.  I assumed we were even since he left me with damage to my property I'm stuck fixing.  He has sent me 4 bills in less then 24 hours. Buckets of rocks he left for me to depose of because I wouldn't let him pour it in my yard.  He left torn bags of material and a large concreted pipe in front yard. City would not pick it up, so he was upset he had to take it away. This is when he refused to fix bricked area.
