      The Manager had the nerve to say to me "I'm going to tell you one more time"! With an attitude. I had a recall on my low beams. Ended up having to pay for it because the recall had expired. Ok fine. I paid it. They said they guarantee their work for a year if I had any problems to bring it back. Well, it's only been a few months and the low beams are still flickering. I brought it back today. They said that since the first service was done, that "I" changed the bulbs and left finger prints on them. That's why the bulbs are flickering. I did not touch the bulbs at all nor has anyone touch them. They charged me $180 service fee today for something they did not catch in the first place. The manager said they don't touch the bulbs without gloves. I told him nor did I. that's when he got rude with me. I'll never go back.

      This dealership advertised our car for one price, then when we got there it went up an additional $2000.00. We agreed to this $2000, it was for theft and clear coat or something. At one point they had it over $10,000. Sticker price. Then it finally came down and we were told the $29,000 plus included TTL. Which was fine that made and additional $2300 in charges, made since. While I was distracted, I don’t know if I was in the bathroom or on the phone with insurance they had my husband, the COsigner initial a paper I didn’t see,(because I was the one reading and asking questions) until it was emailed to me. That agreed on additional taxes? So much went on, it was just all unbelievable, the distractions, or chaos that was caused that day. When we got to the finance department the finance lady “accidentally “ managed to have a fraud alert put on my credit card, what we were using for the down payment, at this point is is after 5 the banks were closed. So while we were trying to get financing signed I was also dealing with the fraud alert so our down payment was processed. I didn’t catch the additional charges, I knew numbers didn’t add up but at this point couldn’t figure out why. So, I called the next day asked what the additional $2300 was far, and the acting manager said “you know how it is right now”.

      $500 for a new battery. Battery for some crazy reason costs $288. And, the $130 diagnostic cost is highly taxable apparently. Most auto parts stores will install it for free. I was charged $170 in labor. For a battery. I felt so enraged I literally shut down rather than challenge it. I handed the service member my card and, oh there’s 5% surcharge (I guess for not paying in gold, or cash?) I’m humbled and humiliated by the experience. I will NEVER shop at Kia of Lake Charles, nor will I ever use their service department again. Ever

      I had an appointment with ******* on 3/22/22 @ 4:45pm at the Mitsubishi/Kia dealership in Lake Charles, LA. ******* called me 2 times to make sure I would be at the appointment. I explained to him that I get off at 4:30pm and would be there right after work. I explained to ******* that I was interested in the Kia Sorento and ******* wanted to show me a Mitsubishi Outlander that he had on the lot. I told him I would look at it but I was interested in the Sorento. While me and my brother-in-law was looking at the car, I explained to ******* that I was not interested in the Mitsubishi. I asked if I could order a Sorento. ******* stated that they were not ordering cars and no dealership was ordering cars. I told ******* that all of the dealerships were ordering cars. He walked away from me and went talk to a salesman. Then both of them bypassed me and was getting in *******'s car. I asked where was he going. He stated that some new cars arrived at the Kia dealership and he was going to see what arrived. He returned in 10 minutes and dropped the salesman off and left again. Neither one said anything to me. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I am aware that cars are now selling so customer service is not good however by next year things will slow down and the dealerships will be begging for customers and I will remember the poor treatment I received from Lake Charles Mitsubishi/Kia.
