Dale committed insurance fraud. He claimed to put new floors in 2 of our bedrooms that was never touched. He also claimed to pack and move my furniture and belongings to a pod that was on my property that he never ordered. He moved everything outside on my patio where it all got damaged. He claimed work in 2 rooms that our restoration company provided. He claimed that they restored and sanded my kitchen cabinets when they only touched up. He over charged us as well. He claims to be a good Christian man who runs a good Christian business but he is nothing like this. Our floors are buckling after only a few works of them being laid. Our beam is not put in correctly. He also is more of a salesman so beware. He had us rushing to get the job done and he would tell us that’s what we wanted. Very manipulative and narcissistic as well. He would not give us invoices. I had to go to the floor company and get the invoice myself which we were over charged on flooring as well. He hide lots of information from us and what the insurance was paying for until after we paid him. His assistant is very manipulative as well. He knows exactly what they are doing. We have contacted an attorney and have started the process. He has 30 days to make it right or we will start litigation.

**** ** *** *******Complete Home Solutions has not nor will ever commit insurance Fraud or any type of fraud. All Insurance funds are paid directly to homeowners. Homeowners then issue payments to CHS for work completed and billed as our contracts states clearly. CHS is not contracted with any Insurance company but with the homeowners. CHS offers Insurance help as a benefit to our customers to assist them with getting them what is deserved for the damages to there home based on there homeowner policy. We at CHS work with the homeowner, and their insurance carrier to get the best results of what is owed to the homeowner by their insurance carrier for said damages to home and what it will take to get the home back to its original state before the damage occurred. Insurance companies will not pay out any funds that are not owed or justified by their policy to customers. CHS has no say in the final decision of what is approved and paid to homeowners by their insurance carrier. With this being said, our customers have the legal right to use the insurance funds paid to them by their insurance for said claim as they choose.  The ******* choose not to have the packout/POD/Packback done as they wanted CHS to move forward on getting the work completed as fast as possible. CHS at the time contacted by the ******* had a waiting time of grater than a Month to get to their job, but due to the urgency of their current issues with prior contractor, CHS moved our schedule around and jumped on their job to do what we could to help them move the job along faster. The ******* directed CHS to move their furniture to the covered back patio and to use the funds elsewhere for other desired projects. The ******* where at the home when the furniture was moved and every day that it was on the covered patio with no concerns of its condition.  CHS worked hard to get the ******* back into their home and make their house wonderful.

The ******* choose to have work done that was not in the insurance estimated scope of work (IE; doors moved, walls moved, doors fixed, cabinets fixed, and floors changed, fire place redone….) the ******* choose to re-allocate insurance funds from other parts of the job (IE; back rooms floors and pack out)   to cover these extra project cost. Again, this is not fraud or illegal. The ******* choose all materials used including all flooring. CHS can prove that the documents attached to the BBB website were purchased by the customer before the furniture was moved outside under their covered patio and covered with Plastic, which was done by the customers directive to keep job moving as pack out was not approved by insurance at that time, but the ******* wanted the job to move forward. The ******* also prepped for the furniture to be given away to some of the workers at the job and this can be proven.

CHS has been contacted by the ******* and CHS tried to work the issue out prior to this but ******* refused to accept the charges of the extra work done by CHS and only wanted to focus on the insurance scope of work that they altered. CHS always has and will warranty any issues caused by poor workmanship on fully paid for jobs.

      Complaint: 19531599

I am rejecting this response because:

We paid for the extra work that was done. They committed insurance fraud and are still trying to over charge us. They also damaged our furniture when they did not pack and store our items in a pod with the money that the  insurance paid them for.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******

The insurance company did not pay the business directly. They paid me.

Customer is correct that we did not at any time receive payment from the insurance company. We only provided an estimate of needed repairs to the insurance company based on what customer was do due to the damages acquired. The insurance company agreed with our estimate and paid the customer for that agreed estimate, which in turn the customer can choose what to fix and not to fix and how to spend the money paid directly to the customer.
