I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope I'm not out of line but why didn't they put the dog down from the get-go if he was that sick. Why would anyone put an animal through that. Sending you hugs and I really hope you fought this.Came from ************************* Replied:That is why I am grieving so.They charged for a criticalist vet to advice us.If you read their reviews, it was all about the money. They said do you want to have resuscitation performed.I said no.They said do you want an MRI on his brain to see if their is a lesion or tumor . I said No!. 600 dollars for cpr **** for MRI. I said. No! Did they say anything about EKG which he was breathing profusely! No! Not until they gave him sedatives he srarted to relax but his eyes were still dilated. It was all about the blood money. Read the negative reviews. We should have been advised to do the right thing by euthanizing him the first day. They kept on saying he is doing fine. We will keep over night and see if any more seizureswhich they told me next day t said none. He is doing fine. Until I said I wanted to bring him home, everything changed after I called at 9:01pm on third day they said he was doing fine and sedation has been decreased! I got a call at 9:46pm same day that he was dead! On that Sunday when went to visit, we saw no change but a shallow breath and very cold paws and ears and stomach when we're running him! He had a gurgling sound that the vet said it was due to his not being sit up right perched so fluid can down his throat! No it was a death rattle called Agonal breathing is when someone who is not getting enough oxygen is gasping for air. It is usually due to cardiac arrest or stroke. It's not true breathing. It's a natural reflex that happens when your brain is not getting the oxygen it needs to survive. Agonal breathing is a sign that a person is near death. Said Respiratory problems caused his death on the Death Summary! Really!

Please dont bring your pet (Met-Vet)to this facility. They only care about how much money you will pay for your pet. They take advantage of the love you have for your pet. Our pet was not there a full four days and our **** was over $4000 (no surgery). We wanted to pick up our pet on Monday and had to contact them every night and morning to check on him! **************** and Dr. *********************** *******, and ************** SAID HE WAS DOING FINE! LIARS! The doctor was supposed to follow up morning with recommendation of medication to administer so we could bring him home on Monday, but unfortunately our pet passed away late Sunday evening. We called Monday morning. Really? We felt our pet was kept alive at their facility because of the use of an IV. We also feel the doctors knew our dog did not have a chance of recovery and only wanted money. PLEASE AVOID THIS FACILITY AT ALL COSTS.My fur baby was given a long duration eithanizing due to the animal hospital wanted to milk me after I gave the **** deposit! They gave pre-medication for eurhanizing and than Phenobarbital in large quantities on third day knowing he was dying from a cluster of seizures that the last one lasted over three hours! They claim he had fever of 107 and later had temp at 96(hyperthermia and hypothermia)! Would this hurt his organs as well the brain not getting the right amount if blood in his circulatory organ! He finally gurgle on our last day we saw him that the vet said oh he is fine! He needs to be perched up so the fluids do not build up! Vet was never transparent with us! Never advised us about euthanizing! Vet kept saying he is fine! His organs were failing as I know the sound of a death rattle! The digestive tract has shut down! The secretions from the other other organs have not that build up because the esophagus doesn't have the energy to swallow! Respiratory problems as well collapsed his lungs! MED-Vet is the worst! Read the negative reviews before even thinking to go there!
