Buyer Beware. Generators Unlimited is a joke and a total waste of time and effort.They are not competent and literally don't know what they're talking about. They lie and just make the story up as they go. Only an idiot would hire this company to perform any work at their house. Came to the house, dressed unprofessionally looking and smelling like the Beverly Hillbilly's. Fussed and argued with each other in disagreement and talked about one another. They dropped cigarette butts and ashes all over the place and wouldn't even stop smoking while we discussed the scope of work. It's clear that they're directionless, stating that they had to hurry to do the job because their only worker works offshore and would be leaving in a couple of weeks. The installer is not a licensed electrician and relies on scheduling your job with the availability supposedly of his electrician. The owner can't even install a meter pan and looks like a zombie from the walking dead. I doubt anybody that works with this shady guy has any qualifications either. One look would tell you this. The owner isn't interested in doing anything the customer wants, but only wants to get in and out quickly performing shoddy work and leaving with your money in his pockets. I was supposed to get an estimate a few days ago but hadn't received one yet. I called to check today on the quote and to my amazement he stated that he decided not to bid on the work. I said, "I wish you would have called and told me." then the owner states "we'll do it and I'll send you an estimate, but I'll warn you it will be high because he really doesn't want to ***** *******." Then went on a profanity laced tirade about working on submarines and aircraft carriers and so forth before hanging up. How can a company say they install generators when they don't really know how to do it. Every part and detail of the job had them puzzled and scratching their heads. They are obviously afraid to install a home standby generator. l'm so glad I dodged this bullet and its one you should dodge as well. No Thank-you Generators Unlimited, it's actually the other way around, I don't want to use your company. The owner is delusional and scary, and not a fan of minority's and is not an individual or company to trust or to do business with. Don't take my word for it, see the other complaints right here. Generators Unlimited, a big, pathetic joke of a business with an idiot for owner at the helm, use at your own risk.

We decided we did not want to do the job so we did not want to nor did we make a bid on it. The customers could not decide on where they would like to install the generator. The bid was going to be high because I had to bid a large area due to the fact of the customer not knowing where they would like to place the generator.

The owner is a ************liar and con artist. We have a poured concrete generator pad where the generator would sit. We didn't have a dicussion about where the generator would go. That's just ridiculous and would be idiotic since the pad is already poured at 18 inch height in the location we chose. Like I've already said, Jessie just makes up the story as he goes. Jessie told me he isn't a licensed electrician. Jessie said he couldn't install the meter pan or even an electrical breaker. Jesse said he didn't want to **** with it because he needs to make the maximum amount of money. Jessie said it would be considerably more than what he initially quoted. Yes, Jessie quoted a price and I was waiting on his revised esitimate. Literally, would only bid if I gave the nod and agreed to pay 4 times more than anyone else would charge. Jessie then decided not to submit his supplement bid. This company wasted alot of time and tried to rip me off. This company isn't quaified, the owner Jessie is dishonest, lacks moral character and integrity. Generators unlimited can't be trusted. What you can trust is the fact you'll get ripped off and you'll be disappointed at every turn. No thank you, Generators Unlimited, I'll pass on the trouble.
