During Hurricane Laura my roof was badly breached. Loosening the entire roof. I went online searching roofing companies who worked with FEMA. (If my recollection serves me right), Angies List recommended Energy Savers Of America, LLC., to be a highly choice company. I called Energy Savers Of America, LLC 1005 North 4th Street Monroe, La. 71201. On 27th Nov. 2020 Energy Savers Of America, LLC., sent a representative to my home at 4602 Willow Glen Street, Alexandria, La. 71302. Their representative (Donald Gardner) showed up in a 2 seater Mercedes Benz with starched, ironed Wrangler Blue Jeans/Shirt, Big White Cowboy Hat/Boots. After introducing himself to me, I knew then, he wasn't going upon my roof to assess damages. I meantioned this to him. He replied he didn't have to go on my roof. They now do satellite imaging that gives measurements & all other information required of my roof. I showed him water & wind damages inside my home, but not in the attic. It was then he told me he won't have to go in the attic because they were going to strip my entire roof of the metal material & seek out any bad wood that would be replaced before putting on a Galvalume Metal Roof. He ask of me would I be willing to do as a deposit. I did write a check in the amount of $3,000 to Energy Savers Of America, LLC. He then told me that roofers would be out to tarp my entire roof until all paperwork was don through them & FEMA. FEMA informed me that they made several attempts to contact Energy Savers Of America, LLC., to no avail. I live in Alexandria, La., made several trips to the company to see why they wasn't returning FEMA's phone calls. Well, this went on for weeks & months until I knew this wasn't legit. On another time I returned, traveling in a horrific storm to request the $3,000 I had fronted them. Instead, I was referred to their attorney's office. So much more to tell you. "They Did Nothing!" All I request & need is the $3,000 I fronted in good favor.
