I purchased H.O. ins. from DJW to cover home from 7/2/20 to 7/2/21. In late July I was inspected and told a tree hanging over a shed needed to be trimmed, I was given a deadline which fell while I was in the hospital and a hurricane was about to hit us. I was sent a cancelation notice if not done. I removed the shed for $500 and the cancelation was canceled. In May ***** ********* told me They wanted to inspect the inside of my home. I didn't agree because in all my years I had never had that done. They inspected inside my home, took pictures and weeks later I received a cancelation letter effective 7/2/21. I got insurance from another company and called L. ********* on 6/1/21 ask to cancel my policy as of 6/1/21, he had me come in to sign a cancelation form, I did. When I didn't hear from agent, I called and asked for my refund of about $76 and was told I had no refund coming because of an 11 month something, which didn't make sense. Although we cannot rectify the insurance carrier's underwriting requirements or standards that lead to their decision to cancel the policy, we will agree to refund the $76 to Ms. ******.Customer response

I don't know why I was not renewed and that's ok. I went out and got another policy before their cancellation date. So a 31 or 32 days refund was due. All I ever wanted was my money back.
