If zero were an option Id pick it. They cut holes in my roof and its been downhill ever since.

Could never recommend this company. Have a service contract with them. They violated every clause of it. They put tools all over my furniture. Left dirty wet rags in my air conditioner return. Stomped in and out of my house leaving dirt everywhere. Left the disconnect cover open - very dangerous. Unable to diagnose why the system wasnt working. technicians could not even read the Freon gauges. Had to take a picture of it and send it to someone else. Called the company for supervisor, couldnt get through. Answering service during the day. Was told I could possibly have a Freon leak but they werent sure. Leak detector broken. Recommended Freon at $300+ dollars per pound but Couldnt guarantee anything. Left me sitting in the heat. Havent heard from them. Total waste of money.

Critical: Professionalism, Value I have had a membership with River City since 2018. I have paid this company $22.95 every month. I had a maintenance appointment on July 1 just to check out my AC unit. The technician ***** arrived on time. He first went into the attic to check ductwork. Then he went to my outside unit and put gauges on to check for Freon. He stated that I was low on Freon. And then told me the Freon was very expensive, about $367 a lb and I would need about 2 lbs. Then he would have to put a dye in my unit to check where the leak is. Then he stated that if I did this I would be looking at about $1700 total and the leak may not be able to be repaired. Then he proceeds to tell me that all the ductwork in my attic is leaking and all of it needs to be changed. So he recommended a new unit and to change the ductwork in the attic. He also stated I could not change one without the other because of the "new" Freon that is used now. He then calls the owner to get me a price to do all this work. The price on his written estimate is $27,272. (That is not a typo) This is for a 3 ton Carrier 2 stage unit System 17 Seer which he states would be energy efficient. He stated that River City would finance this for me. Of course, I was shocked which is an understatment. ***** also commented several times that he is not a salesperson. I state that I have to think this over knowing this was a ridiculous price. And he said if I were not a member the cost would be about $33,000. Again, not a typo. I said I would have to think about this. He seemed to sympathize with me by saying, "Yes, I know that is a lot of money." He leaves and a couple minutes later he knocks on the door and says if I wanted to go with the Stage 1 Unit the price would drop $4,000 making final total $23,272. Wow! I was estatic at that price. As I always do with something like this I get a second opinion. So as it turns out I do not have a Freon leak and all my ductwork does not
