After getting several quotes from different companies, I chose to do business with A-1 House Leveling. This was the only company that came prepared to measure and take pictures of all areas of my home that needed to be repaired/leveled. I received a detailed written proposal the same week of the inspection. The other companies came and eyeballed my foundation issues and gave me an approximate quote and never put anything in writing. ***** answered any questions I had regarding the process and explained the work that was being done. He made himself available if I had additional concerns. The work was completed timely, and the crew cleaned neatly around my home after completion of the job. ***** came and did a final inspection and measurements and explained what was done on the areas leveled on my home. Based on my experience, I would recommend A-1 Home Leveling to anyone seeking a company that is professional and communicates with the customer.

In September 2018 we had half of our home completed relevelled by A1 for a grand total of $14,800. Since then we have had serious trouble with this section of the home not being levelled correctly and shortly after we had problems again with this section of the home basically sinking. In our contract we have a lifetime transferrable limited warranty on the work that was provided. I have all paperwork saved and could gladly type if up word for word. Since this has happened we have called A1 several times to get them to come back out and see what can be done to fix the issue and we can't reach anyone on the phone. Every single time we call no one answers and it says the mailbox is full. That is not a good way to do business and I would never recommend them to anyone else. If you could even reach them about starting any kind of work for you!!! Basically we have $14,800 worth of work down the drain!

Today, February 9, 2022, I received a telephone call from *********************. **** informed me about foundation related problems he recently discovered. I advised that upon return to my office I would pull his contract and review the scope of work that we agreed to accomplish. I found his contract and learned that we agreed to 8 hydraulically pushed solid concrete blocks in the rear at an addition to his home and six new piers and footings down middle of home. While in the review process I learned that ****** wife wrote a complaint to the BBB stating that she made numerous calls, all of which went unanswered. I cannot comment on calls which I did not receive. As to the call I received today, I immediately dispatched one of my trusted associates who found that a 4" x 6" beam had fractured between two piers under the home. Additionally eight (8) 2" x 10" x 8' floor joists were rotten and require replacement. While our contract did not call for leveling the entire house, I assured **************** that either he or I could replace the beam and the floor joists after which I would level the house if the work he or others performed would allow for such. I gave him a price for the contemplated work and he advised that he and his wife would discuss the matter.It should be noted that his home located in *****, *********, was in an area severely impacted by Hurricane ***. It is unknown how much of the current damage was caused by the storm or was as a result of normal defects in materials which were not the subject of change or repair within our contract. We value the relationship we have with our customers and respond upon adequate notice of any claim or concern which they may have regarding our warranty.
