Tory Lowe Construction replaced my roof after Hurricane ***. They also did some Sheetrock work after water remediation. After the work was complete, an inspector noticed there were holes in the wooden slats on my roof. **** came to my house to give me a quote to fix the holes, because I thought it was damage from the storm that was missed.**** came down stairs and told me I see what happened here, when we were putting on the roof, the nail gun hit knots in the wooden slats and they came out. You will need to claim it on your insurance to pay me to fix it. I told him that they messed it up, they need to pay to fix it. He laughed and said thats not how it works! What did you want us to do? Not put your roof on?! He was being very combative and yelling at me in my home. A few months later I followed up with him because he had not been out to fix it. I called and he fought with me some more and said he would come fix the holes.A month later he came to my home, walked in without knocking, went upstairs, looked around, told my daughter there were more holes than he thought, and left. Weeks went by, still no word from Tory, so I texted him to see when he was coming out. **** called and began berating me again, refusing to itemize invoices, so insurance would pay, refusing to fix the holes until I paid an invoice (the same invoice his assistant would not itemize and I had been requesting for 10 months. I have text messages to back all of this up.) After months of waiting and 3 separate instances of that man yelling at me, I requested his insurance policy number so I can file a claim to get the holes in my roof fixed and complete Torys punch list at my house. I refuse to let him verbally abuse me anymore. He has not sent his policy number to me and sent me texts saying by law, I had to let him fix it. I dont feel safe around him, so I am filing a complaint against him.
