This hotel is an absolutely awful. The room was filthy as well as the rest of the building. The pool was full of hair, dead insects, and trash. The front desk staff were extremely rude. They also refused to return incidental fee I paid. We tried reaching out for at least a month after check out but we were always hung up on. This place is a SCAMReview from Eran C

Lets start with they didnt want to change the sheets my whole stay, the house keepers are there for nothing because they dont clean!! Its been 2 weeks since my stay and I still havent received my ****** for incidents back!!! When I call I get hung up on or told something completely different!!Review from Ketrice D

I am currently staying at the Crown Plaza Astor Hotel in New Orleans which as been far from satisfactory. From February 9th to February 11th, **** (today), my party and I encountered a major issue: no hot water for showering. Despite multiple attempts to address this with the staff, including speaking with the manager, we were met with inadequate responses and false promises. We were repeatedly told the hot water would be restored within a short timeframe, but it never happened. The lack of accountability and honesty displayed by the management and staff was disappointing. Additionally, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The Rooms/bathrooms are in need of maintenance, and cleanliness was below expectations, the room smelled like mildew. Overall, my experience was deeply disappointing. Future guests should be wary of the hotel's inability to provide essential amenities and its lack of commitment to customer service.Review from Angie B

Astor Crowne Plaza – New Orleans French Quarter Took almost 1,600.00 out of my account without notice or receipt. Made a reservation in March and they took the money out of my account on June 2nd. Simply said...it makes no sense. When I called the hotel to ask, whoever answered the phone at the front desk told me, "Ma'am, they aren't going to give your money back. wtf My reservation is for June 29th and I hadn't decided if I was even going to make the trip. No manager available, no accounting person answers, hour wait at corporate office. Where is my money, why was it taken...who do I call? TERRIBLE way to run business! I feel helpless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
