I paid for the thinnest lens and instead a thicker lens was delivered, so I had to argue for the thinner lens and wait for weeks for the correct lens. The I went uptown to replace a broken frame, which they ordered for delivery , but was told on the phone I had to return all the way uptown to get that frame even though they have an office a couple blocks away from my house. The owner offered to listen to the recorded conversation after she told me that was ridiculous. She admitted to the mistake. I obtained information from the business that entire glasses can be obtained through insurance every 24 months and lenses can be obtained every 12 months. Despite this info, when I called to schedule to get just my lenses replaced, I was adamantly told on the phone by a rep that according to insurance and records, I could get the entire glasses replaced. When I came in for the appointment, I was dismissed as wrong and the attitude was well who did you speak to? Who told you that. After I almost left, I finally asked about just replacing the lenses. I was told yes, given an eye exam, quoted hundreds of dollars to replace lenses that I got last year along with frames. Lenses were damaged with spots all over them that wont come off, according to them that can be caused by a combination of applications like transition lenses and glare free applications. Another employee said I only have transitions, no other applications. I was the asked to sign a waiver o solving the business of any responsibility in case the frame gets damaged upon replacing lenses. I asked why this was never brought up any of the other times I had come in or spoken to them. The owner said well Im telling you now. The the employee said I could have gotten the lenses replaced within a year with the warrantee. I asked why I wasnt told that before and the owner said I should find another place to shop and she said she would discontinue my services there. This is deception through omission.
