Beep Me Plumbing broke my main water turn off valve handle while repairing a pipe leak and refused to repair it for free. The owner insisted that they didn't break it. I initially set up an appointment. A plumber arrived, but didn't seem to know what he was doing. Later in the day, I over heard him on the phone requesting instructions on repairing a pipe leak. About an hour later, he left my house without fixing the pipe. After waiting a couple hours, I called Beep Me Plumbing. They told me they would fix my pipe tomorrow. The next day, "**************", called me and said he was coming to fix my pipe. I told him I had to pick up my son and wouldn't be back for an hour. He said I didn't need to be there. So, I left, picked up my son, and returned, less than an hour later. I checked out the job and found the pipe leak repaired, but my house turn off valve handle was broken off. I immediately called Beep Me Plumbing and was told that it would be repaired. After a few weeks I called and asked about the repair and was told that ************** wanted to talk with me when he repaired the valve handle. We set up a time to stop by. He never showed. Then, we set up another time and he didn't show again. Following this, I called a number of times and didn't received a return call. I told them that I would not pay the bill until the valve handle was repaired and ************** eventually called me back threatening to charge me penalty fees if I didn't pay him. He told me that he would give me a special deal on the valve handle repair if I paid my bill. I felt this would be my only way of getting some compensation so I reluctantly agreed--trusting him which was a big mistake. His bill for working less than one hour along with 8 inches of copper pipe in parts was $285. I asked him to please itemize it for me and he said that was not necessary as prices are going up. After I paid him the following day, he never showed to fix my turn off valve handle, as he promised.
