A new roof was installed on my home by LA One Contractors on 2/10/2022. Neither Mr. ********************* (owner) nor ************ (project manager) were on site when the roof was installed. I had other repairs done to my home (in addition to my roof, as a result of Hurricane ***) by other contractors. Two of those contractors informed me that my new roof was not installed properly (drip edge was not nailed properly...should have been tucked further in and should be snug against the 2 x 6; too much give in certain places). I was told that if another storm was to come, the roof would rip right off. I attempted to contact ************** via phone and email on March 14, 2023 (date of patio installation) to inform him of this. He did not come to inspect until the end of April 2023. ************** did have someone "seal" the shingles with a substance to bind the shingles to the 2 x 6(s). However, near the end of February/beginning of March of 2024, I noticed a leak on the outside of my home and a "dip" in the shingles in one specific area. I've attempted to contact ************** numerous times and only got one return phone call with ************** requesting that I file a complaint with the ********** of ********* to appeal the denial of my supplemental claim. He also stated he would call "one of his guys to come take a look at it"(my roof). I have yet to hear back from **************. I understand ************** is dealing with health issues; however, I've been trying to remedy the situation with my roof. My fear is that my roof will sustain further damage if not tended to in a timely manner; it is only 2 years old. I was told my roof came with a 10 year warranty and would like for LA One Contractors to repair my roof as needed.
