MB Home Solutions was contracted after Hurricane *** around 2/2022 to perform home restorations (sheet rock, ceilings, floors). Flooring was initially installed without insulations. Not long after installation, floor began buckling and subfloor became warped and unstable. Insurance adjuster came to inspect and determined that floor was buckling as MB Home Solutions didnt install with insulation. After numerous attempts to contact the business with no resolution, an initial complaint was filed with the BBB.Subsequently, MB Home Solutions agreed to replace flooring provided I pay for materials and they would not charge for labor. Out of the three bedrooms that were affected, only 2 were completed. I was advised to remove the furniture from the third bedroom and that crew would return to complete demo and install. However, when I contacted to notify that room was ready for demo/floor replacement, I was informed crew were on a job and would come out when they finished.Despite assurances from the business, and an agreement to repair the third bedroom (in writing via text if needed), the company never completed the work. The third bedroom remains without stable flooring as the crew never returned. As of the most recent call to the business, I was pretty much told they no longer planned to honor their agreement and finish the work as they no longer have a local crew.I am seeking for this business to uphold their agreement and complete the outstanding work, or facilitate its completion.

Good morning. I would like to start by stating a fact that is well known by the consumer. We have no outstanding contractual obligations with this consumer our scope of work was completed as agreed period. And I will explain we did install some LVP floor covering for this consumer this flooring was installed properly following all proper guidelines and was inspected and accepted without reservation by the consumer. it so happens that the customer home had faulty foundations that caused the sub-floor to warp and subsequently damaged the floor shortly after. As we have explained to the consumer many times this is not covered by any warranty. Think of it as if you take your car to be re-painted at a particular body shop and then shortly after you get into a car crash and then you expect the shop to paint your car again for free. Now even though that we had no obligation whatsoever to this consumer out of courtesy we offered the customer free labor to help her out with her foundation and sub floor issues that needless to say were never part of our scope of work and in fact we went ahead and helped her at no charge now one of the three rooms that needed work was not ready to be worked on since at that time was still being used by the consumer. It is our understanding that the room left undone is now ready for repairs. Regrettably we no longer operate in that market and is impossible for us to continue to help her. So, we had advised her multiple times to look for a different alternative and for some reason it seems that the consumer fails to understand that FAVORS OR COURTESY ARE NOT CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS.

MB Home Solutions was hired to complete repairs to my home following damage from Hurricane ***. Part of these repairs included replacing flooring within the bedrooms of the home. These repairs were completed in March 2022.Soon after repairs were completed, the flooring began to buckle ** in the master bedroom. MB Home Solutions was contacted but did not return messages. The flooring continued to buckle ** in the master bedroom and has since come ** in the remaining two bedrooms as well. Only the floors repaired by this business have been affected, as there are no issues with the flooring throughout the remainder of the home that was not repaired. Repeated calls to MB Home Solutions remain unanswered and no follow up calls were received for any messages left. There have been no attempts by the business to resolve these concerns.

We hired MB to do work in our home for Hurricane ***. They didnt finish the ceiling, floors or trim. We did pay them agreed amounts. But my main concern is getting an invoice. I have reached out to several parties involved in our home repair and they always tell me that they are working to get it to me. Work was finished in December 2021. I need an invoice to provide to insurance as well as SBA since portion was paid by for an SBA loan.
