            I was in school trying to finish my Masters degree, I had 3 classes remaining and was advised to take one class so I could finish in spring with my final 2 classes. Well I was getting financial aid, then after completing my employer would reimburse. What they didnt inform me was if you only took 1 class you wouldnt qualify for financial aid, and it left me with a 4700 bill out of pocket that I couldnt pay. I feel as an advisor that information should have been disclosed and then I could have made my decision or arrangements to pay. By the advisor not advising me correctly I am now in collecting and having my credit score affected by this action and I cant complete my Masters until this is resolved and that is adversely affecting my mental psyche. I would like them to own up to their mistake, because that is what an advisor job is to ensure that students have all resources and tools to succeed, and that was not afforded to me in this situation.
