Date of transaction: January 19, 2023 paid $340.00 as deposit for dirt pile removal and haul. Thomas ***** insisted on this deposit and agreed he would render the service. He never showed up, never picked up the dirt so we had to use someone else. He never refunded our deposit. By March 14, 2023, Mr. ***** never picked up the dirt pile to haul off, despite numerous requests for him to do so. We cancelled the service and requested our $340.00 deposit be refunded on March 14, 2023. Mr. ***** said he would refund our deposit. However, he never did. Between March 14 - June 28, 2023, we tried repeatedly to get our deposit refunded but he refused. Attaching a 13-page historical account and Exhibits A, A1, B, and C to this complaint. Please let me know if the .pdf document did not come through. Note: One thing that was odd about his demand for this $340.00 deposit before services rendered is Mr. ***** had hauled off items from our residence several times and NEVER asked for a deposit before rendering his services. At the time he demanded this deposit, he wanted payment for previous services we had paid in full already at the time he picked up and hauled off our items. He realized his mistake and said he was mistaken to ask to be paid when we had done so already. We look forward to resolution - refund our $340.00 Thank you, Dana ********* ************ 08/28/2023
