Air conditioning handler is not cooling this side of the house. Constantly over 80 degrees during the day with the AC running the entire time. Tried on several occasions to contact Mr. Hawthorn to come and take a look at it and see what’s wrong. He’s refused to take my phone calls or respond to my text messages. I recently even paid a $375 for 6month service fee to have both of my 5-ton AC units serviced. They could not even unclog my drip pan drain line and told me I needed to get a plumber. My drip pan constantly fills up, the AC does not cool this side of the house, he has the high voltage lines just sitting exposed in the drip pan, even the way it’s mounted up to the ducting is half way done according to another company’s diagnosis. He refuses to answer the phone for the warranty work. I just had him install the brand new air handler in February of 2024.Business response

Mr. Dove has or had Home Warranty services through several different warranty companies! We provided services through one of those companies and the 2875.00 was non covered cost for the installation of an Air Handler! My company advised Mr. Dove multiple times that the Condensers both needed to be replaced to match the indoor units, but he refused due to non coverage cost through his home warranty company! When he refused to allow his home warranty companies to conduct the proper procedures, he changed to another warranty company! It is my professional opinion that Mr. Dove is trying to manipulate the system, so my company refused service any longer to his residence! Our company, Real Deal Ent., LLC DBA Real Deal Marine in Pineville, LA, ordered a brand new AC/Heating unit from Hawthorne Heat and Air. This unit was paid in full on July 8, 2021 with check number XXXXX. It cleared on July 12, 2021. We were told it would be a wait on the unit. We understood given the climate of supply chain issues we face during these unusual times. Finally on November 4, 2021 Mr. Hawthorne claims he picked our unit from Kingwood, TX and would call use to schedule installation when he returned. Several attempts were made to contact Mr. Hawthorne via phone, text messages, and Facebook messages. Our growing concerns that he was ignoring us magnified. We were finally able to speak with him on January 3, 2022. We assume he answered the phone because we called from an unknown number. He proceeded to tell ****** xxxxx., the owner of Real Deal, that he would be at our location January 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. to install our unit. The morning of our scheduled install he sent a text to Arthur Brown Jr. stating "Hey brother.... tell your sister I will just bring back the deposit for unit! I don't have the time or resources due to this divorce with xxxxxx! I have to be back in court today in St Francisville, so I'll just get my office to come by your office Monday! Sorry about all of this!". Since this day we have not heard A WORD from Mr. Hawthorne. We have called and called and called. If we call from any of our numbers his phone does not even ring so we believe he has our numbers blocked. He blocked us from Facebook. I am afraid this man has no intention of giving us our money back. We did not just pay a deposit, we paid for this unit in FULL.
