******* redid my roof on May 22,2019. It cost $12,900, and proposal says there is a five year warranty. I had so much confidence in *******, I never looked up around the chimney. Just before hurricane Ida hit Baton Rouge, in August, 2021, I noticed I had two water stains dripping down the ceiling, each on opposite sides of the chimney. There was no time for him to repair the leaks since the storm was approaching that evening. I didn't worry since I could call him after the storm. I briefly got a hold of him a few days after the storm, but most people didn't have internet or wi-fi and the call was impossible. I decided to wait a few months until things got back to normal. I attempted to call ******* in November, 2021, got no answer so I sent him a text and pictures. No response. I attempted to contact him in December 2021, but got no response. Due to the drought, I did not attempt to contact ******* again until May 5, 2022. The phone is answered by an automated machine and it rings forever. It does not allow me to leave a message. I sent him another text, he is not responding. I would like him to seal the leaks and honor his contract.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/06/07) */ Contact Name and Title: ******* Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: *********************@gmail.com I apologize our company number is forwarded to a answering service due to large volumes of calls. I had no ideas Ms. ***** was having a issue getting ahold of us. I will reach out to homeowner today (6/7/2022). Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Also the mailing address the BBB has for us is 10 years out dated. We no longer receive mail that address. Consumer Response /* (450, 11, 2022/06/08) */ ******* came by today and took pictures. He said I need masonry work done on the chimney. The leaks are located on the shorter ends of the chimney. The chimney is 3 feet by 2 feet. The leaks are on the two foot sides. The large gaps in the pictures, are on the three foot sides and the water would be falling inside the house, and it is not. He told me he did not redo the flashing around the chimney when he redid the roof because that is not a roofing function. I did point out, the leaks did not start, until after the roof was redone. At this time, I need to get a masonry contractor to redo the masonry on the chimney. If the leaks continue, ******* said he would return and repair them. Until further notice, you can close this case.
