      I am very happy with the care I received. They were very professional and attentive about my eye health. I have used several different optometrists over the years but feel like I received the best care with them. My husband also sees Dr. Gandy. He was working in OK and experienced a retinal tear. Dr. Gandy went out of her way to find a qualified doctor to rush him to. It is worth my 45 minute drive to Rayville to Dr. Stacy Gandy. She is the best!

      Gandy Eye Care has been exceptional at providing eye care for my entire family. They have taken care of my eyes for 30 years! I must say that I first chose them for convenience, but realized quickly that the quality of care that they offer is rare to find anywhere. Both, Dr. Stacy and Dr. Jimmy have always given professional and courteous care. On a very personal note, I’d like to say that they came to my son’s rescue just recently. He was involved in an accident in which he was burned pretty badly. His contacts were in his eyes at the time of the accident. He had no glasses to see with and could not use his hands or fingers to put in contacts. I called them that evening on his behalf when I realized the predicament he was in. They found a frame and made some lenses for him and had them ready for pickup that next morning. Because of them, he could see! There will never be any doubt about where our family goes for eye care. These folks are top notch.

      I have gone to this eye care business for care of my eyes in the past. They had, in the past given good service. However, two years ago, I was informed that I have an eye condition that would require surgery. They sent me to Willis Knighton, in Shreveport, La. There, I was told that I did not need the surgery. Gandy, then sent me back for a second visit. Then I was told the same, No Surgery Needed and contact lens could be worn by me. OK. Gandy ordered the contacts and told me that they would notify me when they arrive. At that same appointment, I was treated very unprofessional by the staff. To the point that I left with tears in my eyes because of the verbal abuse. I waited for Gandy to contact me about my temp. contacts to arrive. I waited twice as long as they had said for them to arrive. Finally, I called them. They told me that my contacts were there and had been there for about 2 weeks. I asked if I need to bring any money with me because they were temp. contacts and if so, how much. I was assured that because of that, I would not need to bring any money. My appointment was set. I took a day off work and went. When I got there, I was informed that I would have to pay a hundred dollar 'try out fee' in order to get fitted for my contacts. Again, this was very unprofessional. When I tried to explain about my previous phone call, it did not matter to them. I left there once again still without contact lens. I will be moving my eye care to another company, just as soon as they send me my files. I do not recommend this business to anyone who is concerned about customer care. My eye condition could cause me to go blind at any time, yet they still refuse to show any compassion or empthy to their customers.
