BEWARE: READ THE FINE PRINT! I strongly advise against joining Club Pilates Shreveport. When I initially signed up, I trusted Rachal ********** word, only to discover later that I had been unknowingly roped into a three-month contract—something she conveniently neglected to mention. To make matters worse, the classes I paid for were only valid for one month, but that didn’t stop her from signing me up for six classes almost halfway through the month! It’s nearly impossible to book a class within a week, making the whole experience even more frustrating. This business is not transparent and seems more interested in locking you into contracts than providing quality service. Please, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. And if you do decide to sign up, read every word of the fine print—don’t let them rush you through the process. Also, be aware that the national company behind Club Pilates is currently facing a lawsuit for false business practices.

Mr. ****** came to our free Pilates Intro class on July 13th and joined after class with our 8 classes per month membership. Rachal ******** was not the person who signed him up with his membership, she was not here that day and she has never spoken to Mr. ******, she is the assistant manager who emailed him back to cancel his membership. All of our memberships are a three month agreement and require a 30 day cancellation notice which is standard at most boutique fitness facilities. All of this information was presented to the entire 12 person class that day, as is at every Intro class. This information was also given to him when he signed his name to our contract. We understand that sometimes there can be a lot of information at once which is why we also send everyone with a brochure, which has our 90 day policy highlighted. A copy of his signed agreement was also sent to him the day he joined. All of our members have 30 days from the time they join to use their 4 or 8 credits and then they are billed again and the next set of credits are issued and so on. When Mr. ****** got hostile about his credits expiring we offered him a few solutions to help him use his credits, extend their expiration or drop his membership to only 4 classes. He did not want a solution and immediately threatened a lawyer. We have cancelled his membership now with us as we do not feel like he would be a good fit for our positive studio culture. Mr. ****** took a total of three classes with us, willingly which he booked himself and I am confident we gave him a great service as we do to all of our members. Although we are a franchise, we are privately owned and have been a positive asset to the community since 2018.
