Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/11/16) */ On July 12th 2018, The contract for mowing service was accepted by this resident's HOA therefore there is no contract with the resident for services. We were directed by the HOA to no longer service the resident's property due to a conflict with the resident, builder and HOA that had nothing to do with our company. All residents within the subdivision are able to add backyard mowing services for an additional charge. This particular resident added backyard services on 4/30/21 and was service up until September. The beginning of September, the residents entered a disagreement with HOA and builder of the subdivision which caused issues with our crew doing their job. On 9/23 our crew was met onsite by the builder who requested they not service that particular address. The last invoice they received shows this visit on 9/23 was deducted from their invoice. On 9/24, the day after our crews was met onsite by the the builder and asked to not service that property, the vice president of our company called to speak with the resident to let her know that our hands are tied. Unfortunately, since our contract is with the subdivision then we will not be able to service their front yard no longer until we were told otherwise. At that pointe, the resident suggested us no longer service the backyard since there is no need to mow the back and not the front. There is no contract for the backyard services. A cancellation email with final balance was emailed on 9/24 for services rendered on 9/2, 9/9, and 9/16 . Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/11/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This ordeal began in July. There were times when the crew just missed our yard and times when they were told not to mow. I would like the money I paid for services not rendered. As you stated the "builder" stopped you from mowing. We had a contract for service which you cancelled not me. I just want my refund.
