My complaint is withCross Country Equity and broker ******** **********. I am not here to give anything but facts. We started purchase of home on 1/22. We filled out application on 2/4, providing everything needed as he asked. Between 2/4-2/20, we were pre-approved. On 2/21, we sent text with a ? because his communication is terrible. The reply, just waiting on an insurance quote. We got a message later with payment for 30 year loan. Next, sign a contract. On 3/16, texts he got it and we were all set. 3/23, just waiting on final approval, appraiser assigned. 3/25, approval from underwriter tomorrow. 4/5, we need 2022 taxes filed. 4/10, we remind 45 days is up. We've got to get something done. He says, you wont lose it, I will have a firm solid by end of day. 4/17, I dont have it yet, but will definitely get it today. 4/19, call you back shortly, i have final conditions. Appraisal ordered today. 5/1, asked after appraisal , what time frame are we looking at? 5/9, appraisal in review with underwriter; 4 things must be fixed. Fixed. 6/14, on with underwriter now. We go on 10 day vacay. 6/23, return to LA. Told Curt paperwork would to title co. soon 6/26, 4 things to raise credit score above 720. Done. 6/30, rescore submit. 7/5, 718 Has to be 720, he says. Dude says, we need 10% down. Okay, whatever, get it done. 7/8 You will have paperwork before 11! ?? 7/10, forms out today. 7/11 have them in 30 min tops. 7/17, big boss on it! 7/18, COO on it. 7/21, sign something. Sent back ASAP. 8/1, everything good, close this week. 8/7. yes definitely happening. date this week. 8/15 File is in QC, clear to close. Definite today. 8/17, who lender is. JO, private lender? 8/21, doing bridge loan? 8/23, we are hiring a lawyer. That is the day Mr. ********** never responded again. This man gave false info, an embarrassment to us, caused stress & anxiety, and we put $10000 down we would lose after being told it was. Nobody should ever be treated this way.
