      Date 07/29/23 Informed business via voicemail that the AC unit is out at the property I currently rent.... 07/31/23 Informed business again via voicemail of problem... 08/01/23 informed business via voicemail again of problem 08/02/23 went to office..no answer at door ... 08/03/23 called office again left message again via voicemail... Each time no one answered and I have not received a response... It is 100+degrees here n Shreveport..I am a senior citizen...I pay my rent on time EVERY month....they hv raised my rent to $700.00 dollars a month without any repairs n the home ... I've paid rent for this month and half on the rent for September.....I hv active electrical exposed wires outside that has been unattended by the company for over a year and a half that I've repeatedly ask them for help on .. these are my security lights on the back of my house where it's exceptionally dark and this property is not in the ideal neighborhood .... I reported to the company of a fire hazzard that these wires possess but still I wasn't given any consideration or help.... I am paying someone to stay at their resident until the business can get my AC on ... i informed them less than 3months ago that the unit was bad because it works for only approximately about2 months and it'll be out again. I also mentioned that it's too hard to get them on the phone when help is needed ...the business did hv freon put n the unit maybe the end of April2023 and it's out again ... it's now August ...this business use to hv a tenant portal so that maintenance requests can be summited but that has taken down from the business website... PLEASE I NEED HELP...THIS COMPANY IS RIDICULOUS... they continue sending me emails to sign another lease agreement...but how could I summit myself under this type of abuse and sign my name to it ? I also would like to know when do you stop paying rent until these problems are rectified? I've been FORCED out of my resident !!!!!

      To Whom It May Concern:  

      Referencing the complaint against our office of "Synergy Ventures Management Group" which was made by the tenant Ms. ***** ******, currently residing at *** ** *********, please be advised I, ******* ******, as being the property manager was on vacation from July 29th to August 5th.  My first day back in the office from vacation was Monday, August 7th, and the entire day was spent on catching up on emails, telephone messages, and miscellaneous other office duties.  Ms. ***** ****** work order did not go un-noticed, the office was closed due to again I was on vacation.  I did receive Ms. ***** ******'s message via telephone, on Tuesday, August 8th, and returned her call.  Ms. ***** ****** indeed informed me that her A/C went out on Saturday July 29th, and I informed this tenant I had been on vacation, and apologized that she had to wait this long, and also mentioned that I would turn in her work order today (Please the attached work order I have included.).  So naturally as she stated when she called those days, in that time frame to the office, let alone to show up, I was out of office, on vacation.  Ms. ***** ****** was informed by me, ******* ****** that an HVAC tech would contact her to find out her availability for him to come by her unit and examine the matter.  So I am not sure why Ms. ***** ****** felt the need to contact the BBB.  More importantly, to the BBB, please know that our HVAC tech has made contact with Ms. ***** ******, after receiving approval from the Landlord, to install a new A/C unit, which should have took place today, Monday, August 14th, but per Ms. ***** ******, she wants to wait until Wednesday, August, 16th.  I'm surprised she wants to continue to wait a couple of more days since she states the urgency of it being hot, and the factor that she's paying someone temporarily to stay with them.  Now the portal that we use to communicate with tenants for those who wish to submit a work order via that portal is very much active.  I am not sure why Ms. Wilson states that portal is closed.  Perhaps she does not know how to properly use it, but it is active.  Yes, rents increase across the border for all of our tenants, due to the increase in supplies to make any necessary repairs.  So her rent alone didn't just go up.  Finally, because she has not signed her new lease agreement that has been waiting on her signature since May 15, 2023, she is currently without a lease agreement, and in violation of failure to renew her lease, but yet remains living in the unit.  Overall, I'm not sure why this complaint has been made when the issue has been addressed, but Ms. ***** ****** is the one that put off the new A/C unit from being installed until Wednesday, August 16th.  Synergy Ventures Management Group is a business that seek to resolve rather than create any added issue.  We are not perfect, but we however strive for excellence on a day to day basis.  Thank You.
